Hello, I have a maverick (stock) and i've found that when i use my darts in nite finders, the nite finders dont fire them, but my maverick fires them fine. i use stock velcro nerf darts. I've noticed that the darts have a small kind of indention on the end after being used in the maverick, as illustrated below. Has anyone else had these problems?

Yes, the same thing happens to my regular micro darts with suction cups. It doesn't affect the preformance of the dart though. I am able to take the darts out of the maverick and put them in my RF20 and they work fine! The only reason the darts get that indentation is because the back of each of the maverick's barrels is slightly smaller that the rest of the barrel. Look down the turret and you will see what i'm talking about. The darts I'm using, however, are regular suction-cup darts, not velcro, so i'm not sure if the darts I am talking about are exactly the same as the darts you are talking about.

This does not ruin darts. If you leave them out of the gun for a few days they should go back to their old size. This can be avoided by simply not leaving your darts in such guns. Only put the darts in before a war, battle, assassination etc.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Most spring powered nerf guns has a little bit of constriction at the bottom of the barrel. This holds fresh darts a little tighter so that more air pressure can build up, thus firing the dart farther.

This shouldn't be of any concern. My homemades actually shred darts if they are placed too far in the barrel. I personally don't think a little indentation is worth worrying about.

I've also found that my Nite-finder darts are slightly shorter than my Maverick darts. And yes, I have noticed the indentation, but it doesn't seem to cause a problem.
