I'm not sure if anyone has tried this yet but i think that if you could get the dart to spin it would be more accurate and it would go farther.

To get this spin i think if you put grooves in them by the back they would spin and be more accurate and go even a little further. I am going to try this and get ranges up soon.

I'm pretty sure we also determined the following:
  • A spinning projectile has better accuracy, not better range
  • Any dart torqe is going to draw energy from dart velocity, meaning that more spin equals less range
  • Even if you overcome the logistical problems of getting a foam dart to spin in a plastic barrel without destroying the dart, you're only going to get a vew revolutions out of it--not nearly enough to make any real improvement to that accuracy of the dart.

It actually does work decently if you get them made properly. I use a 10 degree twist and it doesnt appear to have an effect on range and it works beastly out of a single 2K with my rifled barrel, which is odd.
