[SPU-Nerf]

So I have noticed that there are few stores that carry NF's anymore and if they do have any it is like one or two. Are NF's not being made any more? Or is the Nerf stock not replenished after Christmas? I fear that the NF has been replaced by the crossfire. Am I right or is this just a regional thing? (I am in the Pacific Northwest)

I'm Atlantic Northeast and I'm seeing the same trend. The only N-Strike guns that seem to be in stock anywhere are the Maverick and the Firefly. The rest of the nerf guns are all the Dart Tag ones or the Tech Target.

They may be just converting them into the cross fire (thats what its called right) the gun that came with some of the dart tag sets.

Ya I'm noticing that there are no Nfs in TRU but my Kmart still has some. I'd check Kmart or walmart out.

It must mean that they're diverting all shipments to Wisconsin - there's scads of them around here. Even found a first gen NF when I was out tonight, although that was a surprise.

The Same is in Utah, all the stores that I live near by only sell the Firefly, Maverick, and the Dart tag. I think Nerf is either getting rid of this N-Strike line up and bringing in something new, or we could expect ther worse. Nerf is no more.

In all seriousness, Nerf won't sell the same guns forever. Otherwise, I wouldn't be appraising my crossbow at the moment, because you could still get them in stores. There should be a new line out shortly, we are in the middle of another transition. After meeting the Nerf team at Hasbro, I feel that there are only better things to come.

I'm sure we'll hear some news regarding a new line considering there should be a trip to Nerf Headquarters for our community ambassadors in the near future. For now, we can all just sit here and wait.

I hope they come out with a new line up, im so sick of micro darts I want to see more rockets / missles / mega darts / maybe even a really nice ball launcher. Also different looks of weapons

I've barely seen anything around here, be it a 2k, NF, or even a scout... Then again, it could be that all the NERF stuff is going to Target, since Falcon can always find it there, yet I can't...

Does anyone here think that Dart Tag is going to be there next line up, and that they will be making an asortment of new looking weapons all that come with Tagger Darts (velcro tipped darts). I sorta like the idea of the arrow sticking to you that way people can't cheat and say, "that missed me man" or "IT DIDN'T HIT ME" when about 6 people saw it hit him. The only draw back to the Dart Tag is that all the weapons will have to come with velcro vests making them expensive.

No, if they do create a large line for the Dart Tag, not all of them will have vests. Like the Crossfire. That doesn't have a vest, just a shield, which adds on little if any extra expenses. You do have me wondering on that subject of a Dart Tag line quite a bit. Maybe a full auto DTG with a Firefly like stock (for the comfort),

I know my Wal-Mart doesn't stock Nerf anymore. It sucks because my nearest pickup is 20 miles away. And the TRU that is 20 miles away is closing in a few months. That leaves me with a Target and a K-Mart. My list of allies grows thin.

This is an ill trend regarding the NF. If I see some, I'm not going to hesitate stocking up. On the other hand, a new line would always be interesting. Hasbro was pretty creative with the N-Strike series, I'd really like to see what they concoct in the future. Of course, it could end up like the series with the Perceptor, Strongarm, Autogrip, Armorshot, Ratchetblast. The only thing worthwhile there was the RB.

It's wierd about toys r us, they're closing a ton of stores. I really need to check the one near me to check for any nerf guns on sale and clear them out completely.

I know why there gone or at least I think I do at my target in the twin cities about a month ago the NFs were like blue and yellow..... now they changed thier colors to ugly white and nasty green so the stores probably cleard there old inventory and are getting in the new white/green ones does this sound correct?

ah whatever just a guess but a likely probability

I swear that there are hundreads of nf's on ebay plus the winter scheme has only just been released. It's green and grey.

Yeah the only nite finders they sell at TRU where i live are white and pale green, then they have like 50 mavs and 50 fireflys but those guns suck.

I noticed the same thing. Until I saw the new NF colors... I don't know if you have seen them but its grey and green.

I think that there trying to get rid of all the N-Strike series so that they can come out with there new series. The White and green NF and Mav's i think where just first moddels that where never put on the shelfs

My local Target had about 40 N-Strike NF's today, so they aren't completely gone yet. They also had a few Mav's/FFly's, as well as a few footballs, but I doubt we care about any of those those.

...hm, just imagine someone made a gun that shoots the footballs...hehe

You guys do know that when people talk about "old" NFs they mean the ones before the N-Strike ones, right? Almost any store carries the disgusting EX-3s, they mean the old ones from '03 that didn't look totally ugly and were actually good.

Speaking of which I found an old style Nitefinder and a at2k at the TRU yesterday. I was going to buy it untill I scanned it and it came up $16.99 for one freakin at2k.
