[One Man Clan]

15th will work for me. I'll still be there on Sunday, provided I can find it. Did anyone post good directions from the highways?

Is everyone good for the 15th?

What time is the mini war tomorrow? I might make it, probably not though...

Edit: Can anyone make it today? Or is it to short notice?

You're kidding, right? It POURED, and completely out of nowhere. My race ended literally 10 minutes before the rain came in. Although now the band has gone by and the sun is back.

Bad news, can't make the mini-war tomorrow, can't make the 8th, can't make the 15th either. I have a huge term paper due on Wednesday, and I have barely started the rough draft. It is going to be over 20 pages and will likely take all my time today, all my time tomorrow, all my time Monday, and all my time Tuesday. Not to mention my 2 Physics labs, math homework, Latin project, History project, and 3 English assignments.

The 8th and 15th are within my Spring Break, when I'll be visiting various college campuses, as well as many people in my clan will.

ATTENTION!!

Mini-War is cancelled! The reason for this is the lack of people that will be attending the war. Since Duxburian will not be able to come with his clan members, that leaves just me and OMC...and possible Akeris, but he is not even definitely comming. Therefore, the mini-war is no longer Sunday, April 2nd. We may reschedule the mini war for next weekend, but it will not be the "Big War" since Duxburian cant come with his other 10 clan members.

Anyway, we still have to come up with a date for the big war. Next weekend wont work, and i dont think the one after will either...but that is not definite. Throw out some dates and check your calenders for when you guys are available. Thanks!!

You guys need some serious help in the realm of organization. If something doesn't go off soon, I'd recommend you guys wait like 6 weeks until the college guys get home. We can actually pull Nerf wars off, believe it or not.

From now on, if you say you can go, you better be there. Everyone that cannot attend this war originally said they would be there...and they did not show up. That is the reason for cancelling the wars. Please be sure that you can go before saying you can...that is the reason I told all of you to tell me if you were on the list and cannot go, tell me and I will remove you. Hopefully the next war we plan will be smoother. Thanks

We don't need serious help, we just need more luck and less last-minute variables. I actually have a very good record over the past few years when it comes to throwing together events. Ironically, I had a successful 15 person water war the day before the Nerf war was supposed to be. But on Saturday there was the track meet, and right at the time the war was scheduled, the rain came pouring in as expected. The rain didn't last too long, but it was extremely heavy. I cannot control the constantly changing dates of my track meets, nor can I control acts of God. I spent all day today working on work, and I will be up into the wee hours of the morning. So the war and mini-war were cancelled out of luck and work rather than high school incompetence.

I will be pulling off 20-40 person water wars on a weekly basis starting next month, so I need no lectures on how to organize large events. But this Nerf War will have to wait until the weekend after my Spring Break, for reasons I have already explained.
