I have seen several mods for Mavericks online, but being a noob, I'm not sure how exactly you remove the air restrictors from the gun itself. I don't even know how an air restrictor looks! Also, i was wondering how I could add some rubber bands or bungees to the firing mechanism to increase range and power. Pictures would be greatly helpful!

You would have to internally band the Mav as the cocking slider isn't actually connected to the plunger tube. If you do end up banding it, you might want to reinforce the plunger tube as rubber banding will decrease the working life of your gun.

There are three Maverick mods involving air restrictor removal with pictures that I know of on these forums. I profusely apologize if there's one I don't know of.

I don't recommend putting rubber bands internally to a maverick, I tried it and it bent the pin and snapped a part of the cocking piece where the pin rests when I tried to cock the gun. So dont try rubber banding.

yo, dude, I'm a noob too, well when it comes to modding, but then again, i do know just about every nerf guin ever made. if you have one put a bungee cord on a nitefinder. it make sit get like an extra 20 feet!
