I loved the Sharpshooter II when I had one as a kid. Too bad I took it apart and broke it... This one I bought off Ebay. Aside from the paintjob, I sanded off the obnoxious fin on the barrel-cap piece. (Not perfectly, I still need to work on that a bit.)
I think I'll also stencil a symbol onto the blank black bit above the grip. Maybe a kanji symbol or something.

I take back everything negative I've said about painted blasters. That thing is cool as hell.
Again, however, might be a little impracticle for me to use.

I hate you.

Very nice, I really like the silver and black. Although my only complaint is the rusted screws if you can find similar screws at the Hardware store and replace them it would look great. IF you plan on not opening up the gun again you could carefully paint the screws.
I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I don't Know Why, But this one just doesn't have the same "OOOMPH" of some of your other blasters. I do Agree that It strongly needs something to break up all the black, I think you could do something awesome with that metalcast paint you use, on either the handle or front grip.

Anima is THE original painter. He pretty much started the "lets paint our Mavericks" fad.I take back everything negative I've said about painted blasters. That thing is cool as hell.

That SSII is freeking sweet. Nice job.

It probably lacks the 'oomph' because it's simply a different, not-as-cool-looking-gun. There's no way I'm putting Metalcast on this thing. It would totally ruin the way I've 'compartmentalized' the colors.
I am however thinking of doing a tiger-stripe pattern with red metalcast on something one of these days. It'd have to be something with some serious surface area though, or it'd be a pain in the ass and the stripes really wouldn't 'pop', because they'd be disappearing over corners and such.
