I don't know if this is in the right section, but I bought actual BB's (copper BB's for BB Guns) will this be any different from the fishing weights?

You can find a few topics adressing this in the Homemade section.

Those copper BBs have been used in stefans before. The difference here is a lighter-weight dart. This will result in discrepancy of maximum range and accuracy of your gun, depending on your weapon of choice. I tend to use my lighter stefans in my air guns. In most cases, I would suggest BB sized splitshot sinkers, or 3/0 sinkers. They can be purchased at any fishing goods store. I also recommend viewing the Dartsmithing Tips thread in General Nerf. There is quite a bit of valuable info from a variety of reliable people here on NH.
