Seeing as I got a new dremel for Christmas, I thought I should try to do something cool.

I will be attempting to make a homemade spring pistol, like boltsnipers, but without any instructions. I need help in the following areas, and I would appreciate it if you could help me.


1. Where could I get some kind of metal for the trigger catch mech.. thing?*
2. How can I make the trigger system strong ?


I need some sort of sheet metal that is strong, but a dremel would be able to cut it.

You can by both steel and aluminum flat, angle, and rod in various sizes at the major hardware stores ie Home Depot, Lowes. It is in the hardware section.

To make it strong and durable try and use metal for the high wear parts like that catch.
As for the rest of it, just be generous with the structural material. Don`t make anything too thin. Make the footprint for bonded pieces as large as possible. Don`t use hot glue. Use CA or PVC cement.

Just out of curiousity, considering I'm attempting something along the same lines becasue I'm quite fond of the GNS, what's CA?

I think its a form of Super Glue.

CyanoAcrylate. It is superglue. CA is what I`ve always called it. Keep forgetting noone else recognizes the term.
