See if any of this
helps you. It's the search function, use it. Also be specific in what is going wrong, how you modded it ect. These are important clues for those willing to help you.

First off, does it SOUND like it's firing when you cock it and pull the trigger. Check that first, report back, then we can help diagnose your problem. If you feel up to it, take pictures of what you did; it'll make things easier for everyone.

Those orange things keep it cocked. I would advise keeping them. I had to dig mine out of the trash because i'm stupid. Mine works fine but has a very loud rattling ring sound when it fires, and when I shake it it rattles a lot.

EDIT: Yes, they should have springs.

ok thanks guys
-For ompa yes it does make a sound and a little air comesd out but it won't fire.
-For J cobbers it actually wasn't really a mod I was going to mod it but I decided to put it back together and it won't fire..It makes the sound but the arrow won't go anywhere.
-Thanks c monkey

Yes, there are supposed to be springs. Make sure the orange head that goes over the plunger tube is on correctly.

I guess I'm missing the 2 springs on the orange things on the BBB.
Do you by chance know where I could buy springs for the orange things?

I doubt you could buy the same exact ones, unless someone has a busted BBB they use for parts. Your best bet is going to a local hardware store.

I removed those parts. Even though it's good to have it ready to fire, it puts a lot of tension of the gun, and a bonus of this is that if you pull it back and forth quickly the arrow will launch without you pressing the trigger. The power is reduced(I think) if you shoot this way, but's it quicker. You can still fire normally, but you have to hold it back by your own strength, although it might be off when you fire since you have to make sure it doesn't contract again.
