I happened to stumble across this on nerfworld mod directory and I clicked on it but the link was exprired. Could somebody show me a pic of it. It sounds really cool. Since I'm in to LOTR and Legolas is my favorite character I think it would be cool if it was an actual bow t pull back. Well, so can I get a pic and maybe even a review of it please. Thank you.

I believe the Bow n Arrow is among the first of Nerf weapons - you've never seen it? There are numerous reviews/images out on the www.

Since you're a LOTR fan, I imagine you're also aware of the Uruk-Hai crossbow? It would be cool if you could do some cosmetic work on the BnA to make it look like Legolas'

Thank you very much. Now atleast I know what it looks like. I would be interested. Could anybody that as it give me some brief specs. Like how far it goes. And is it that acurate and other things. Thank you again.

They also used to sell a LOTR Lurtz bow, like the NERF version it uses the pullback system but it uses elastic like the Uruk-Hai crossbow instead of springs.

I play Amtgard and use a 35 pound bow (lax. requlations) and use wooden aroows with hard foam tips 2 inches in diamteter. It get's 50 feet at close range (1/2 to 3/4 pull) and 75 feet at far range at full pull. Of course... those were with no arc. With arc and full pull I get 125 feet. Try this and see if the power is too much.

It uses the same ammunition as the Uruk-cross bow but I got mine 3 years ago and have since modded mine to shoot micros and I don't have measurement on range but I'd guess it gets a good 45-50 ft.

I remembered it after I thought harder and remembered what Lurtz was. I was wanting to find that bow.

Google amtgard. It should show you on the first result. But, it is the practice of making pretend mideval weapons and fighting with them. We use PVC with foam pool nookdles and foam to make swords to beat each other for amusing purposes.
