First iI want to wish everyone Happy Holidays! Second, I wish to share with all of you an event that recently reminded me of the true meaning of the holidays:

Last weekend my girlfriend and I went carroling with her youth group at church. we went to several houses, froze to death, then came back to the church and stuffed ourselves with hot chocolate and cookies. Then the pastor came in. With him, a list of people that live out of the carroling area. We called each of them, spreading a bit of cheer to each. Then , finally, the last person. On the other end, a 100+ year old woman picked up. We began to sing carrols for about 10 minutes before we stopped. when we did, the woman on the other end was crying, thanking us for taking our time to do that. As it turns out that lady had been without many cards, or without people stopping by to chat, or what have you.

Kinda makes you think, doesn't it? Well, I wish all of you a Happy Holiday!

(Sorry if I'm not supposed to make a topic like this, I wasnt here last holiday season, at least I don't think I was.)

I'm gonna be perfectly honest and say that was one of the corniest things I've ever read.

I agree whole-heartedly, and think it's great what you did, but the above comment stands.

True, it was corny, but thats how it happened, so I'm sticking to it. Usually the nicest things in life are somewhat corny.

You're gonna have to be a little cheesy at some point in your life...might as well be now.

On the subject of christmas...

I had to design a "Never before seen Christmas Tree" for my CAD class. We could make it out of anything, but we had to have 50-90 items in it, and it had to be no larger than 2x2x2 feet.

Merry christmas, everyone!

Any other nerf-themed things you guys are doing in the spirit of the holidays? Gifts, etc.?

Enjoy!

Well, since it's christmas day, I figured I'd ressurect this and share a bit of my Foam-filled holiday with y'all.

Best gift ever...

My girlfriend made "Buddy" for me at the local build-a-bear. He's the Black Knight's newest official member, as well as our official mascot.

As for what I gave her, I altered the pic on my Nerf HQ Nerf Warrior T-Shirt in MS Paint and made the following on Cafepress.com. She's wanted one for a long time, but I just had to make a small change...

And lastly, just for shits and giggles, and because she loves earrings, I made her these to go with the shirt:

So if any of you need any good gift ideas in the future, and your gf doesn't mind cheesy crap...

Merry Christmas all!

Happy Nerfing!

Yours in Foam,

-Falcon
