When I picked up a crossbow from my local Goodwill its paint wasn't in the best of conditions so I then decided to give it a paintjob.

So what do think of my first paintjob?

Also when I bought it the plunger thingy was snapped I tried to glue it but it snapped again. If any of you have a solution please post it below.

Awesome job, and a first paintjob at that. Did you use sparkle paint for the light blue spots, or is that just the flash from the camera lighting up the plastic? I like the color scheme, even better if you are a UNC fan.

-As far as the plunger goes, I am not sure about that one.

I like it a alot. It's really nice for you first time. I've never liked white and baby blue so much.

Sexy, Very sexy. Equally as good a paintjob as Rose's judgement

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I love it! I'm not to fond of the blue either, but it is still amazing. Could you post a pic of the plunger, so we can help?

Show us some pics of the borken plunger rod first. You may be able to repair, you may need to fabricate a new one. Take some pics so we can hell you better.

That is a really, really clean paintjob. As for the plunger, can't give you any help there.

Depending on where the break is you may be able to put metal rods in the grooves on the sides of the plunger rod to hold it together.

Most Excelent, The Dark blue is a bit shiny, but that's prpbably from the flash on your camera right? The Light Colors are a plesent change on a crossbow, generaly people paint um dark. I'm just a little concerned your gun's gonna look dirty after a few months of use.

Our internet has been messed up for awhile so I could't respond.
Ok, yea my description of my problem was pretty weak so here it is again with pics. The plunger rod that goes down the plunger tube snapped so I glued it but it snapped again. After gluing(sp?) it again when I cocked my gun I heard somthing break and figure the plunger rod had snapped again. However when I opened it up I found out this piece had been pushed forward and it a had jammed up the plunger rod. I tried hotgluing it in place but it still got pushed forward.

Try screwing a nice strogn screw from the tip into the shaft lengthwise. There should be a plastic half-circle peace that supports the rubber parts...I dont see it on there.
