I haven't posted on this board- been on NHQ for a long while though. We had our 5th SENO last weekend and made a little movie out of it.
Some good 'ol southern Nerfing!
It is 28 megs and 8 minutes long, so if you don't want to download it you can stream it from google video at http://video.google....82011316&q=SENO . The quality is pretty bad there, though.

SENO was in Anniston, Alabama. We have clans from GA and Alabama; most of the time Timberwolf coms from Missouri, as well.Where in the South-East are you?
I saw alot of high powered weoponary. I guess anything goes up there.
We don't like to put many limitations on people. We're there to have fun. We don't really mind if it hurts a little- its more fun that way .

One question though. I saw a Titan in the mix. Was it allowed to shoot stefans or was it shooting stock darts?
I don't feel the way I used to do.

We don't really have any gun restrictions at SENO. There were several titans and 5ks and supersoakers all shooting stefans. We don't really like to put limits on guns. It's pretty much just an anything-goes scenario... and it's really fun that way!

It looked like it to me, some people want more protection so they don't want to get hugeass welts on their lips (talking from experience), especially because there were no gun limitations. And is it just me, or is somebody there wearing a paintball mask?

What types of games were you playing anyways?
We played almost exclusively team elimination. We divided up LRC and Squids vs. REN and DSN. They won most of the first couple rounds, but later in the day we mixed it up until we came up with a good setup. Later in the day, though, we played LRC vs. REN in the field and LRC won. The last couple battles got kind of crazy, but that's what makes it so fun!
...and yes, some people wore PB masks for extra protection, but most just wore sunglasses/shooting glasses. Suave shot me twice-in-a-row in the forehead with a crossbow... I still have a knot.

What are those round things that people keep jumping in and hiding behind? The part where people are walking next to a jeep when its moving reminds me of Black Hawk Down, when the soldiers are running beside the trucks using them as cover. You just need someone with two rapid fire 20's standing out the sun roof...hehehe
I wish there were that many nerfers in Pennsylvania.

Awesome!!!! That is so sweet. You must need a big area to have 33 people nerfing...What are those round things that people keep jumping in and hiding behind?
beWeird's family owns a huge amount of land, but we played on only about 5-6 acres of it. It wasn't crowded or anything. Those "round things" were barrels. There was a big metal horse feeder that we dubbed "the pillbox" though. It was probably the coolest place to go to be in a death trap.
One final thing, the downloadable version's video hosting site has said I've run out of bandwidth, so it's going to be down for a while. The Google video version still works, though. If anybody has any suggestions for a good video hosting site, the reccomendations would be most welcome.

The "Numa Numa Nerfers"?Very cool. I think it would be awsome if there was an indoor battle reported here (Off-Topic). I liked the Numa Numa Nerfers, that was great. I loved the techno!
Is THAT what you call us?
Ouch...
Nothing against the Numa Numa song; it's freaking awesome, but COME ON!
Oh well...I'm over it.
Just curious, Nerfreak (or anyone else who may have an answer) what do you guys use for barrel material considering you use megas? 1/2" PVC? If PVC was the only barrel material I ever needed, I'd have finished all my clan's guns months ago (Baghead and I sort-of compete, in a friendly sort-of way for the brass form the local hobby shops.)
I'm curious as to what diameter your actual stefans are, because I'm still planning on flying out there, and if I were to come, I wouldn't even be able to shoot LRC's darts. My barrel is 17/32" brass (not 9/16"). So are your megas fit for 1/2" PVC, or just really big brass? I saw some pics of people holding 1500's that looked like there was nothing inside the PVC, but I could be wrong, and if I don't want to have to run around screaming looking for orange dart tag-turned stefan darts to shoot at people, I'm going to need to set my xbow and NF up with an interchangeable attachment for megas...
Thanks for the info! Hope to see you all next year!
Yours in Foam,
-Falcon
