I recently saw some rubber tubing at my local Home depot and I am wondering what diameter I would require to make a three man water ballon/snowball launcher?

I'd say 3/4" (Sorry I'm not american is " feet or inches, well anyway, I mean inches) is the MAXIMUM you should use. If you find it to be not powerful enough than you can double it up. Half an inch should do it though.

I've used a chopped up bungee cord and a hot pad, and that did the trick. My friend also bought a launcher. The tubing on that thing is only about 1/4".

I use 3/8" O.D. (1/4" I.D.) and its pleanty powerful to launch a water ballon or snowball. Just make sure to get some good leather for a pouch, ad cloth with eventually rip.

For handles (for the two side people) I would reccomend a 5 or so inch piece of sch40 with two 90 degree bends.

I know its old but I feel it better to reuse this topic then to create another so I have a question. How whould I attach the two ends of the rubber tubing together?
Not only that but how long should the tubing be?
