Try getting an AR-15 spring. I'm pretty sure the +Bow and the AR-15 springs are very similar in terms of both size and strength.

As far as I know, the Ace hardware in town has two toolbox-like cabinets full of different sized springs... So try Ace.

I need some Plexiglass to make a +bow. I saw some at the Dollar store the other day (not for sale). And since plexiglass is pretty expensive. . . Should I take it or what?

No.
Only polycarbonate will work and the dollar store is not going to have the kind you need. You cannot skimp on the materials needed to make a +Bow.

If I may, brass can also be purchased in bulk off of amazon. You can get it a hell of a lot cheaper that way.

Hobbylinc's prices are much cheaper than Mcmaster's, though. And Hobbylinc tells you the shipping charges before you order. I'm sticking with them.

It's easiest to use very generic search terms then refine down using the various options until you find exactly what you're looking for.
You can be as generic as searching for "Pipe Fittings", "Plastic Pipe", or event just "Pipe".
I searched for "Brass" to find that part number, then refined by material, shape, and dimensions.

If you want a nice door stop you can ask them to send you their paper catalog, which is a phone book roughly 6 inches thick.

I finally found plumbers goop and decided to tell you where you can get your basic modding needs. (If not known) Any questions or comments are taken.

Plumbers Goop: ACE Hardware as far as I know, a purple tube.

PVC: Basic, at any hardware store I cant think of.

FBD: Called "Caulk Saver" in USA. At your local Lowes, and sometimes Home Depot. EDIT: Heh heh, FBR, sorry.

Hot Glue Gun and Glue: Basic, any hardware store probably.

Brass: The only place I can find it is at Lowes.

PETG: Clueless

Hacksaws and other blades: Should be able to find at any Hardware store.

Screwdrivers: Do I really have to say, same as above.

Ruler: Any store with school supplies, honestly can't remember.

EPOXY: I think Lowes

PVC Cement: At any hardware store probably.

Last time I checked my local Home Depot, all they had was copper. Copper is a good barrel material if you have very thick darts (large outer diameter). According to my digital caliper, the copper has an inner diameter of 0.544, while its outer diameter is 0.635. These measurements may be the slightest bit off, however I don't think it really makes a difference.
