Yes. But why not get it from OMC? Now brass is really good and they sell it in packs of 4,3,2 depending on size.

My parents won't let me buy it from him and I'm using PETG over brass because 12 feet of brass is to expensive.

What is wrong with all of these parents that can't deal with the internet? I don't get it.

That is my current Screwdriver. I need a better one to get some extremely tight screws out. I know that it needs to be #1, but they say things like #1x 3.25" or #1x 2". Which one do I get?

If you are going to use your screwdrivers a lot, I recommend not purchasing that particular type. Using that specific kind of screwdriver a lot may result in nasty hand cramps that hurt.

u can get PETG by ordering it from One Man Clan's

i think its $.50 per foot and $3 for shipping

Common knowledge right there.
CPVC has oddly dissapeared from my local home depot. Anyone else have this problem? The guy there said they weren't carrying it anymore.

Actually, it's $5 for shipping. MSDFS, you should know that. This is how misinformation starts.

If the local hobby stores in my area do not carry the right sized brass tubing, where is a good reliable (cheap/cheap enough) website that I could order it from?

Looks like Hell just froze over, in your area at least, my Home Depot still sells it, they may have just moved it.

The Royal Ace hardware near me sells diamond print aluminum that is thin enough for use on a +bow with some minor modifications to design. I plan on picking some up and busting out a few L+L's. They also sell relatively cheap steel ($5.38=2 sq ft) which is good for reinforcing. I'm not sure if this means that others carry it.

I've found Ace Hardwares to be a hit or miss. One of mine is great, the other one is a junk heap. But neither of them sell brass.

In Canada, especially in Vancouver, I can't find cpvc, but I found a substitute that works really well. I got it from Rona, and here's the brand: it's called Superpex. It's a bit curly, but you can straighten it easily. It's also very tight for stock darts. May cause fishtailing to a poor stefan.

Ive used superpex for breeches, it was easy to cut with a kitchen knife, being so soft.
ABSOLUTE best place for fishing weights IMO is Walmart. They are having a sale: 0.59$ for a pack of 3/0. I bought like 15. They aren't that expensive when they aren't on sale, 1$ for a pack of 40.
Home depot is now not carrying 1/2 inch PVC. I need to go to Rona (canadian hardware store) for it now. Home depot keeps knocking things off their list. First 1/2 inch FBR, CPVC, and now PVC.

The chinese fish store on Dundas (right beside Big Al's) has a bunch of PETG sizes which I used to make my PETG Angel breech. If you want to make your own get 9/16, 5/8, and I think it was 7/16.

Two quick questions:

What type of lubricant do I use for E-tape wrapped plunger heads? And where would I find it in the hardware store?

At hardware stores, you'll find o-ring lubricant in small containers. They're circular, about 2 inches wide, and an inch deep. They're carded and hung on pegs. I found mine in the faucet repair section of the plumbing aisle, but your layout may differ. Just look around. You'll want one that says "silicone grease" somewhere on it. Otherwise, it may dry out your o-ring.

Found a picture of what I use, $2.97.

Yeah, I have almost the exact same thing, just a tiny bit different packaging. I have to say it works really well and keeps a much better seal then silicone spray lube. I only use the spray now if an air gun valve acts up.

What would be a good dremel piece to cut plastic or metal?
Would this work well?

It looks like it would work, sounds like what I use. (Disks that attach to a rod by a screw).

Has anyone tried FBR from Contractors Tool Supply? (http://www.contracto...eet-p-4208.html)

Its $6 for 100', definitely a great price, but there is a $5 low order fee if you don't order 25$ of materials. Before I get 500' of FBR, has anyone tried this stuff? If so, how does it fit cpvc/petg/brass?

Thanks a lot.

(Was hoping to have a mod be my first post, but it's harder to mod nerf guns at college dorms... mainly due to lack of tools)

K, I have another question guys hahah, and by the way thanks for answering my previous question. Well when i went to my Ace, i couldn't find the grease, so I bought the spray instead, it says it works with rubber, and it is silicon based so does silicon lubricant spray work similar to the silicon grease?

Also, I bought Sch 40 pvc, but it was grey, you guys think it'll be similar to sch 80?

Spray will be fine and will work very similarly to the grease. I just prefer the grease because I can smear it exactly where I want it, and it won't spray all over the table/floor/myself. If the spray is fine by you, that's all that matters.

Sch. 40 PVC is different from Sch. 80. Sch. 80 has thicker walls than Sch. 40, and so the inside diameter on the Sch. 80 is smaller. If you're using it for your barrel material, you'll find the darts will be tighter in your new Sch. 80.

My home depot doesn't carry Sch 80 anything. Sucks.
There's a hobby shop in Pitman though, about 2 minutes from Rowan that has an overflowing supply of K&S brass tubing, at around $3.50/foot on average.

I've been to Lowes, Home deopt, OSH, and heck even looked at walmart. None of those places have metal cutting discs for a dremel. Where would I be able to find one short of ordering it online?

Every Ace near me carries brass. I have 3 of 'em within 3 miles of my house.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good O-ring you can buy to replace/supplement the stock one?
I just don't have any extra night-finder O-rings at the moment.
