I have a cat named Puddy, and a stupid dog named Lady.

Puddy is over 20 years old, and she is starting to go bald. She still is fine and still jumps around, but for the most part she lives on that heater, see her food?

Lady is the most pathetic animal I have ever seen. I am a cat person, you dont need to walk a cat 6 times an hour. Cats are also softer and less noisy, and they dont steal a turkey.

I have some better pictures on the digital camera that I haven't uploaded yet, but here are my two cats, Austin and Cooper. They're 6 years old, and they're still my kitties and fuck whoever thinks otherwise.

Damn these are some lazy/odd cats I have.

Cooper and my girlfriend, Christie:

Not all the cats are mine, but I grew up with them, and see them everytime I visit my parents, so sometimes I feel as though they're my pets.
Here's Abbey, a loud-mouthed cat. You can actually hold a conversation with her, say something and she'll respond. Sometimes she seems mean but she's never ever scratched anyone and when she purrs, you know she's happy. She's such a loudmouth that she even purrs loudly. Posted Image

This is Shadow, technically my sister's cat but he's in my mom's possession since she's at college. He's an odd cat. When he was just a very young kitten, his mother got hit by a car, and my family took care of the kittens. We had to wean them ourselves, that's how young they were. Well, we ended up keeping this one, and one other (below). He's a large cat, weighs about 18 pounds. Extremely passive.

Posted Image

Snooch is Shadow's brother. His tale is similar, except he must have wandered off, as he was delivered to our care a day after we got the other cats...found half-drowned in a puddle, in fact. It's a miracle he survived, but he didn't come through intact. He's a few bricks short of a full load. He's the most lovable cat I've ever known, and for some reason he and I seem to have a special connection; he prefers to curl up in my lap over anyone else's. He'll even beg for me to sit down so he can have a lap. He also loves broccoli crowns, and will beg desperately for them when he smells it cooking. Martin's brand potato chips are anotehr treat he craves, and he'll come running whenever he hears a bag being opened.

Jagano is the name of the man who invented Judo, the wrestling style of martial arts. It's also the name of this lovely six-foot long Boa constrictor. Like most snakes, he doesn't really have a personality, but he is one of my more memorable pets. His picture is also rather large, so here's a link instead of hogging the thread width.

And Ikey here is a recent addition. He likes to chew on Nerf darts, but I don't think he likes the taste so much as the attention.

I love animals. I suppose that helps explain why I'm studying for a B.A. in biology.

Just a question about those RoboRaptors. Are they intelligent at all? I saw one at A Sharper Image store and it tried to walk but didn't go anywhere. The only thing cool I saw about it was when I touched its head, it sniffed me which I thought was pretty neat. Maybe the batteries wre low or something.

They actually aren't intelligent at all; they are pre-programmed with no random behaviors. So, if you read the manual, you can easily know what it will do in reaction to anything you do. Battery power also has a huge effect on the performance of the raptor. Low batteries will not let it walk on carpet, in fact it can barely move on any surface. Fresh batteries, though, and it can move on fairly deep carpeting (deeper, than, say, the typical carpet in a Radioshack).

That being said, it's a very neat toy and does react well to movement, depending on the lighting. His manuevering is rather clumsy; if you want him to wander around, put him in a large, empty room with flat walls and large objects. The downside is that his limited responses might make him boring after a while. If I were you, I'd take six fresh AA batteries, and swap them into a demo model (if you can find one at a store) and fool around with him for a while. That should tell you whether you'll want him or not.

I'm hoping they improve him in future years.

Nice animals yall.

This is Daisy (AKA DCat), she's one of our 6 cats, and no, I don't live in a barn. Yea she likes to prowl around at night and collect things and stash them under that china cabinet. Too bad most of the stuff she finds are my darts. I really wouldn't mind it if she didn't tear 'em to peices before knocking them into her little collection.

Yeah my dog (see first page) chews everything. He always tries to get the darts and eat them. Hell, he comes into my room and starts chewing on random PVC on the floor.
