I was wondering where you guys buy 1" 200PSI PVC. I am working on a homemade and I need that size but I have no idea where to go and get it. I went to a few places, Home Depot, Sears, and a local plumbing store, but I couldnt find anything. Let me know where you can buy it. Thanks.

I got mine at Aco, but not sure if it was 200 psi, think it was like 280.

I`v never had a problem finding it. Home Depot and Lowes at multiple locations. It's usually not with the SCH40 1" but rather downt he aisle a little ways. It is in the same place as the rest of the PVC. Just look around and check all the PVC that looks to be close. Depending on manufacture the pressure may vary. I`ve seen 200, 230 and 250psi.

I can get 1 inch 360 PSI at my local Sears Hardware. I'd try homedepot. That's where I get most of my PVC parts.

I have found that often times "200 PSI" pvc is referred to as "thin wall" pvc (for mostly obvious reasons). Most places have two sets of each diameter, normal and thin.

You could always just ask someone who works there...

I live near two Home Depots. For the things they carry, they usually have the cheapest prices, so I usually check there first. However, niether of the ones I live near carry thin-wall pipe (believe me, I spend hours in those places). My local Ace Hardware doesn't carry thin-wall, and they generally have more expensive prices (being a locally-owned store), though I love them because they carry the majority of the items I use.

As for the places that DO carry the pipe, Lowes is a haul for me, but they carry more types of PVC than anywhere else I've been to, thin-wall included. I get most of my thin-wall from a locally-owned store called Wentworth Lumber Yard. Just see what kind of places in your area.

I went to home depot again to check out the pvc more carefully and I still didn't find anything. I talked to a salesman and he said that my district doesnt allow thin wall pvc (there are regulations against it) and that is why most stores in the county dont have it. So for anyone else having the same problem as me, you might want to go somewhere out of your county to get the specific size you need.
