these are horrible, where to start...first,they're too long for my maverick. second, using them in my maverick breaks the tips, which makes them impossible with my nightfinder. overall, don't buy stuff on price alone. 30 darts for seven dollars is great;but they don't work.

Well have you tried them in your dart tag guns? Thought not. Well Since that is what they are made for I am sure that has something to do with it.

If the darts are too long cut the backs off, so they fit into you mav. Just a thought on how you could get them to work in shorter barreled guns, and all you need is a knife.

1) The foam on the Dart Tag refills is a tad stronger and holds against crinkling/normal wear and tear better.
2) THEY ARE USED WITH THE DART TAG GUNS PRIMARILY. Personally, I use them in my crayola'd BBB and all my other guns that aren't the maverick. Even my wildfire.
3) THey're bright orange. Easier to find than the black micros.
4) The rubber tips are heavier and lined with the velcro so it's easier to feel (I don't really make stefans and when I do I cover the glue tips so not ALL my friends get welts. I take it easy on them.
5) The darts fit a bit tighter in the barrel in general than the black foam stock micros.

CSMaclaren even noted they may be more aerodynamic. Judging the ammo just because you use one particular gun is ridiculous.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to use Dart Tag ammo. Just the right gun (a non-maverick), that you can casually pick up in a store.

I would use a sharp knife. But thats just me. You know for that real clean cut. And I am just like a casual guy you know. And I own a knife. So I will casually cut off the back of the dart so it will fit in my gun.

The only common sense answer to this squabble is to just use stefans. Cost hitting you right in the baby-makers? Stefans are the right solution. Disappointed that your Maverick just can't get it up anymore? Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, or stefans work great. In most cases, stefans are the premium in darts. Unless, you can't make them...then I would suggest reading the multiple threads on dartsmithing. I haven't used stock darts in a long ass time. Just load up on material and you can make as many darts as you see fit. Whatever gets the dirty work done for you; stefans just work for me and a multitude of other people.

PS: Is it me, or do I say "just" too often?
