Ok so I know many of you are saying we alsready have silencers but this is a new way to make them that I came up with. I use micros so I also use 1/2 cpvc.

-So I took that and then cut it to the length of the barrel but then added on 2-3 inches.
-Then I did to make the silencer was to drill out one end of it with a 1/2 inch concreate drill bit.
-Then after I drilled rows of smaller holes in the sides to make it a silencer.

I think it works rather well and there isn't any fuss of it falling off. I use this with my airtech 2K single coupler moded. So tell me your thoughts questions and comments on it and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I'll probably get around to making a silencer on a day when I just feel like drilling holes in stuff.

Just a question on the function of your silencer...I'm assuming that the noise reduction is really only an issue for pump guns, seeing as in a spring gun the sound of the spring colliding with the end of the plunger tube is louder than the dart firing (though I may be wrong)?

Yes silencers only work in pump guns and not spring guns.

Thats not really not going to silence any thing.

Well, I don't think that silencers do anything practical for you in a war, but they do silence the 'pop' of the air coming out of the gun a little bit.

I believe silencers are quite useful depending on how you make it and how you utilize it. I have modified all my guns to fut the same type of silencers there detatchable when we play Home breecher I silence first so the first 2 or 3 guys do not here or see anything till they're dead. But like a normal silencer it takes of range sometimes. So when they hear that we are here we take off silencers and go loud.

I would like to point out pump guns don't have any noise to silence. The hiss they do make is none existent if you have a good trigger pull.

As well as my LBB. The silencer makes the "Pop" from the dart leaving the barrel somewhat quieter. C'mon man, you've heard my lbb, it does make quite a pop when we use the larger darts.

I did the samething on my lbb it didn't work, in stead of making it quiter it makes it echo.
