I was wondering if anyone has a energy drink preference. Mine is Monster, for it tastes great and is packed with vitamins. Its just too bad they are so expensive. And just a tip when drinking an energy drink that contains TAURINE. You should make sure you drink a lot of water or are hydrated before you drink these drinks.

Ya I prefer Monster as well because it tastes just like Redbull but has twice the volume and is the same price. But what is it in taurine that makes you dehydrated? Oh ya, I also quit energy drinks so I won't be drinking moster any time soon.

So many people in my school drink redbulls but the problem is that they have like 4 times the suger required in a day and the retards at my school don't exersize after they drink it therefore making its effects usless and instead make you fat. I mean I can't even drinkl a redbull it just grosses me out with the sheer am,ount of suger its like cool aid on steriods but with vitimins and other stuff. Thats why I don't drink it . But some energy drinks have a herb or something that speeds up your heart or raises your internal body tempurature (just like afedra). But still I just don't like energy drinks I prefer water its good for you.

My favorites are Rockstar, Amp, and US Energy. All taste great and US Energy is cheap at costco.

Yuck, Rockstar to me tastes like chalky redbull. I had it once and I could only finish it on the thought of it's cost compared to a soda. I don't know how anyone can stand that stuff.

Any one of the old guys remember this stuff. Comes in Blue, Cola, and Lighting. Now Jolt was the shit!

I don't really go for energy drinks, but in place of that I go through a crapload of Coffee and Green Tea.

Redbull...ugh. It's just aweful.

As for Red Bull-gross. I don't drink it because of Taurine. Taurine has not been actually provine to do anything, it's just said to increase the affect of caffeine. It's called Taurine from the word Taurus, or ox. Why? Because it is extracted from ox bile. The thought of that alone keeps me away from anything with taurine in it.

If I could drink anything as an energy drink I would choose honey, it is almost pure glucose, the simplest carbohydrate. One of the C6H12O6 molecules.

Rockstar has to be my favy. I do drink Amp on certain occasions, but if I ever have an energy drink, I stick with Rockstar. However, I don't drink energy drinks that often. Ah...Jolt was good crap.

Sports drinks? All Sport pwned. Whatever happened to it? Now I'm stuck with Gatorade, but that's not as good as All Sport.

Beverage of choice period? COCA-COLA. On the side of Coke, I drink lots of milk, coffee, and basically any kind of tea.

Jolt kicks ass. The Blue Rasberry flavor was the best.
Both Jolt and Monster recently released new screw on top cans that are 23.5oz of energy drink!

I want to try Crunk juice, Pimpjuice (both are energy drinks you sick minded fuck), and Steven Seagal's energy drink.

I'm not a fan of any of that stuff; I just stick with coffee, diet sodas, and water. When I remember, I go decaf. Gatorade wouldn't be bad, but they don't make a diet version... Even if I liked the stuff, I couldn't drink it anyway, as my diabetes precludes drinking any of the "energy drinks." They make a diet, but it's an abomination...

Taurine and a lot of that other stuff have little if any proven value; a friend of mine takes "HGH" stuff he bought somewhere; I did some research on it, and it could be diluted to one part per several millions and be totally ineffective (and it is), but people will still buy it and use it. The HGH stuff in it is "somatotrophin" or something like that; the concoction also contains 15% alchohol...no wonder he feels energized and in such a great mood all the time...

Bingo. If there's any one reason I'm happy I'm diabetic, its what this man just said. People need to eliminate the excess crap from their diet. I can't say caffeine is necessarily the greatest stuff on earth, nor is anything carbonated, but it's a lot less evil than the boatload of excess carbohydrates everyone takes in.

As far as taurine being extracted from bile...yeah, that's why I don't eat venison...deer are coprophologists (sp?): they eat their own shit...

I'm a coffee man first and foremost, but when I was working back at the garden centers, I was king of the Monster energy. My one friend got me hooked, and then the rest of the crew got in on it. We even had cases in the community work fridge.

Aside:
To whoever posted about Lost Energy, It's MADE by the folks at Monster (says it on the can), and Monster is made by Hansens, the company that has those redbull sized cans in the 7-11 fridge too.

Coffee is the best! Energy drinks are all right my favorite of them all is lost or vamp.
