Lol, that's pretty cool man.

At DCNO someone had an NFmini. It was from Canada and it was pretty much an NF shrunken down about half of the origional size.

Lotta knockoffs.

If that barrel is CPVC, that is an almost exact TTG re-make.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

That was my first thought when i saw it in the store but after a closer inspection it was no ttg but i bought it anyway, it was very cheap. 40 swedish kronor about 5 dollars. All i had to do to make the barrel cpvc was to slide it in the original barrel and hotglou it in place.

Haven't tested yet but they seem decent.

Guys, I don't mean to be a mod but let's leave this more for pics than for discussion. Start a new thread on that gun if it's so exciting.

The upper barrel is chambered for micros, and the lower is chambered for megas, so I can fire back anything shot at me. By complete accedent I discovered that the lower barrel can fire arrows 15' flat not bad I figure.

WOW THAT IS REALLY SNAZZY!!!

I know what me little brother is getting for Christmas!

What made you think of doing something like that?
How comfortable is it to use?

You obviously have bought one of the new color scheme nf's. At the store you bought it from are they selling the Mavs and/or fireflys with the new paint scheme too?

This thread is for sharing pictures of your finished mods and guns in progress. The idea is to provide a gallary to show examples of various modded guns. Please keep comments on the pictures posted to a minimum, or don't comment. If you want to explain the picture please do so.

That's the spirit of the original thread, made over a year ago, by J_cobbers.

Many of you weren't even members of NerfHaven when this thread was started.

It's hard to have a gallery of pictures when every second or third person makes some commentary, much of which can be brought up in other threads, if the piece is THAT interesting/unique/excellently done/cool/nice/whatever.

Some of you haven't contributed squat to the gallery. I hope that changes soon.

I don't have too much information for those who were asking, but I figured I can at least throw up a picture in here for starters.

Posted Image

This was once my first crossbow. Then I bought another one to put my original's internals in so I'd have a fresh clean shell to construct my primary with. So I now had unmodded internals and a heavily modded empty case lying around. So naturally, I quadded the damn thing. It kicks.

I don't see how the difference in your range with your angled to flat shots, that is not possible, or it doesn't seem that way. I have seen BBBs used as primaries, and 60 feet isn't very good for a primary, unless the ROF is amazing. My AT1K gets 65 (flat, I'm not shitting you) and the ROF is much better than my BBB. And where did you get that alluminum?

1. The difference in range is because the angled range isn't an average. I fired twenty shots from each and took the average distance for the flat range. I then took the three darts that went over 100' (in the case of my Longshot) and fired those at an angle. I did this to find the maximum range. Other variables might be the angle I fired at. I fired it at a 45 degree angle which may or may not be the angle most people use to measure their gun's angled range.

2. My BBB isn't my primary my LS is. The crayola barrel is just a temporary fix until I can get some brass, then I'm hoping I can get it to around 90'.

3. Actually, I'm not even sure it is aluminum. I found it in my house and I think it was part of a towel rack. It was originally 18'' long so I used the spare 8'' for the barrel of my now singled AT4K (I accidentally snapped a gear in half on the already broken rotation mechanism). The reason I think it's aluminum is because it's a silvery color and aluminum is a common metal so the chances of it being aluminum are high. I just hope it's not lead. If you're into buying stuff online, then you can find it on McMaster-Carr. If not, then I guess your best bet would be Ace.

Falcon, was that PJ? Also, don't the four brass barrels make the X-bow extremely front heavy?

Yeah, that was PJ. I took the barrel setup from PJ and put it into my new shell, so I wouldn't lose any of the previous's firing capaility. It actually gained some. Not sure how, but whatever.

It's not front heavy at all, really.

Then again, very few guns are front heavy to me any more because of my current primary (you can find it on page 13 of this topic, and there's no duct tape on it anymore). And for the record, mind really isn't all that front heavy either, though some might consider it to be. It actually balances quite nicely when you hold it right.

Before, you go calling me a copycat of falcon's, I have been thinking about turreting an xbow for a while now, his mod just inspired me to do it. Now since I had a coupler epoxied on my gun I had to have the turret sticking out of the gun, but it punches holes in a cardboard box fine. 6" 9/16 barrels with 2" 17/32 nested in the back.

Well, here is some of what I have.

Posted Image

Longshot, with four clips. I put in a MaxShot spring (I'm going to Ace Hardware soon to pick up a better spring, a la Carrtoon's), took out the air restrictor, put on another o-ring, and took out the peg so it fires stefans. It is one of my favorite guns ever. I'm going to put the front gun on the case soon.

Posted Image

My 3B and Bobert's 3B, both modded the same way. For some reason, they suck. I think the barrels are too long.

Posted Image

Frankensteve, the Longshot 3K. Airtech 3000 internals coupled with a Longshot case and trigger.

Posted Image

Cx's traditonal 3K mod. Six PETG barrels. I love it. It has a Propaganda wallpaper in there, but I can't remember which one it is.

Posted Image

My favorite gun of all time: The Ubermaxx 750. It's got an 11-inch PETG-into-SCH 80 removable barrel for quick reloading and tops 100 feet at 8 pumps, which is how many I always give it. I have had it forever.

I also have a NF, which is currently being modded with a coupler and nested brass barrel, and I should be getting my TTG soon.

I started a longshot with an underbarrel foregrip pump mod, and this is what the paint looks like so far. I'm still building the foregrip, I've gone through a few different styles and not really liked the way they looked, I'm trying to make something to go with the current style/design of the longshot. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks. No metal, but I try and get and get them looking as close to it as possible. I actually thought about doing a set of these, for sale, along with this maverick:

This longshot is actually my friend's though, so this one at least can't go out for sale.

Props to Falcon who also has a nightfinder with a turret.
Also the stupid Santa Anas (SoCal's sissy attempt at a tornado) wont let me paint it so I'll post that later maybe if I get motivated.
