How would "your pride and joy" even shoot. There is no barrel. Please tell.

This is my PC, which is about my nicest looking gun right now. It's been clip modded, though I don't have any extra clips (I plan on buying one or two pretty soon), I just wanted something to do a few days ago. One side is all black, I think it came out too glossy, with the middle yellow flame thing masked off to break up all the darkness. The other side just has a neat blue wallpaper I printed out to stick in there to cover up the ugly banded bladder. I got the idea for this from C's 3k and Splitfire writeups so all the credit for it goes to him.

Hey Nerf Monkey how goes? This goes for any Power Clip users as well. Anyway I was wondering how good the power clip nerf gun is. Is the range good, and does the clip advance automaticaly up or do you have to keep pumping. Thx

Here's my personal NiteFinder.



EX-3, swapped out the spring for one from my first-gen NFs.

-Restrictions removed.

-Constricted PETG barrel nested in 1/2"SCH40 PVC.

-Rail extended with plastic stock sculpted to fit the lines, creating a solid sight plane.

-Three-tone paint that's not afraid to get beat up. Chopped ammo holders. (I kept the LED sight too.)

-Fits nicely in a vest or cargo pocket. Ranges 60 feet consistently with NO BANDS. If I need more range, I'd bust out my 2k.

AT2k with RSCB made PDC. Note the barrel and RSCB assembly canted to the left, bringing the whole sight plane/ barrel profile lower.

Basicly what I did was crayola barrel it, replace the spring, drill out the air restrictors, then I painted it and ,plastiy dipped the grip.

This is my Nitefinder...I've added a new barrel, drilled out all the restrictors and stuff and it shoots pretty well



Hopefully I will be doing a new paintjob to it soon. Oh yeah heres a close up of the barrel...



It is 1/2" PVC with a crayola barrel insert, it works pretty well and hopefully it protects my crayola barrel well.

Here is my Nitefinder mod, nothing special although it does shoot megas instead of micros. I had to hacksaw some of the inner and outer shell to get the 1/2 in PVC barrel in. I used a 4" barrel. I replaced it wiht a massive spring to get a lot more power. I get about 70' on average but i have got 85' max. I'm thinking about integrating a sspb or somehting else in there. Please give some feedback or sugestions.

There are some bad-ass mods on this page, but I've only seen like 2 X-bows. You gotta love the old school... wow, that makes me feel old calling something old school. This was my Crossbow...


Vacc did this first. Come on, who could forget Binky. Sorry for snatching your idea. At the time I was 14 and the pure awesomeness of a Crossbow-SM1500-LnL-SSPB made me determined to build one of my own. These pics are from July of 2002, which is before I got my kinda better camera.

Sadly, after moving to Florida and searching everywhere, I found the Crossbow in a toybox in my garage, crushed. Both barrels had broken, the pump handle for the SM1500 had snapped inside the tube, the plunger had snapped in half, and the SSPB was nowhere to be found. I had the LnL though (whew). It's nothin' a lil' spit and ducttape can't fix. Err, make that a lot of ducttape.

Knew sombody would ask me that. So it got really annoying when I was running and the pump handle kept sliding out, so, I attached the rubberband and put a little square of felt inbetween the bottom of the pump handle and the rubberband so it would have some friction, and it has never slid out again.

Ok I thought this wasn't post worthy and i didn't want to start a new topic, plus I have no idea where to put this so I will put it here. I recently made a sort of makeshift holster after my attempts at black wrath's very nice holster failed.

Just to clarify, it does not hold as well as a regular holster. I use it for my NF and AT2K. I just loop the plunger handle or the trigger guard over the hook and it stays there pretty well.

Yes, the x-bow barrel is crooked, I have since re-done pretty much the entire thing so now the barrels are straight. And no, the halo barrel in the picture is not attached to the gun body, it's just laying there. It's straight when it's attached.

ompa, what is the rifle at the top? i've never seen anything (including home mades) like it. assuming that its a home made, it would be pretty awsome if you did some kind of write up on it.

It's my 2/3 done halo um, very long gun replica. It's pretty much sitting in the same state as it is in that picture. Now that I know how I could easily make the trigger mechanism work, the only thing stopping me is:

a.) I don't have much incentive to build it; it's basically a singled AT2k with a clip, which I already have

b.) I'm too lazy/keep forgetting to pick up plumber's goop.

It was an interesting experiment and all for working with bondo or whatnot, and it pretty much was the in-between step between my halo shotgun and my current homemade. I need to convince myself to fully paint and finish my current homemade before I start my next one, as I have a bad habit of moving through projects too quickly.

That Halo 2 s,niper rifle is super cool. Also is your halo shot gun just an idea or have you made it? If you have do you have aany pics of it because it sounds really cool if you have or if you do.

I made it some time ago; basically it was a singled AT2k with the pump handle being integrated into the pump of the actual halo shotgun itself. Being (I believe my second?) attempt at a homemade, the gun itself didn't turn out too magnificently; I did not have the experiance that I do now in making working triggers, and glue just did not hold up as well as I was hoping it would.

Its been modified in every way posible. the front sight is the belt clip from a SSPB. i can hit a pop can at 20 feet.

Nothing overzealous, it works for me. I do need to spend some more time on the AT3k though, it's only got crayolas on it. I know the gun has a lot more potential, I just need some time to sit down and tinker. The SM1500 is broken too, it needs a good fix.

Not pictured here: Splitfire (removed restrictors), another SM750 (coupler mod), EaB (PVC, crayola), NiteFinder (PVC, crayola), LnL (PVC, crayola).

It's nothing to look at compared to Starbuck's and Orange's mighty stashes. Nonetheless, my camera's working and I'm happy about it.

Ompa, you just gave me an idea. Since I need to design a case anyway, and I have a lot of sheet steel at my disposal, I'm going to throw my next homemade into the body of something from some game. I'll figure it out later. I'd have to redesign by using a different pilot valve and air source...where's GGDT and my leadholder?

You should make your next homemade modeled after a clone or storm trooper blaster rifle. That'd be freakin' awesome!
