Just panted and moded an old tac red dot site.

I cleared out the insides to fit a cheap mini flashlight.

Rewired that to work with the switch that was already inside the tac sit.

i am working on a rayvon to match the blue and white.

Group picture of my most recent works.

Starting out on top: John Deere Sentinel, no internal mods.
Top right, with the pink and green barrels: Rammius. An integration of a Dual Strike and a Baron, but no Dual Strike internals are left. Instead, the Dual Strike system has been replaced with a full size +bow plunger and a Panther. The integrated Baron operates normally. Credit to Badwrench to inspiring the +bow section of Rammius.
Regular color Baron to the left of Rammius has springer PETG in the barrels.
Yellow Nitefinder below the Baron has a PT replacement with 1" PETG and a homemade plunger. Super tacticool optic on top.
The pink Panther on the right has a super cool paint job with gold splatters and a PETG barrel replacement.
Sonic Nitefinder on the left of the Panther has a PT replacement with 1" PETG and a full [k26].
The Defender below the Panther has a PT replacement with 1" PETG and 8" of [k26].
Finally, the Sawtooth on the bottom. It has a full size +bow plunger tube and a rather amusing soundboard from a Walmart "laser gun" that activates when you pull the Sawtooth trigger.image.jpeg

Blasty McBlaster

An Elite Alpha Trooper with the front lower pump slide of a Raider, a Triad as the pump handle, and a Longshot front end and carry handle.

Stick magazines are unaffected by the Triad pump handle. I can no longer comfortably use drum mags with it, but that doesn't really bother me.

The triad is stock. The Elite Alpha Trooper has a lock removed, but is otherwise stock also.

4JAX Sceptor, a.k.a. the 4SJAX, the newest in a long line of me putting standing bike pumps in order to almost reach the sustained fire rate of a pump-action springer. Fifteen pumps to full, and completely convertible back to the original pump. All I did was pressure-fit a piece of 1/2" PVC wrapped in tape into the front of the pump tube.

First paintjob I've done. Stock paint was very shitty; lines were not straight or symmetrical. Not even close. Used duplicolor vinyl dye high performance, had issues with the blue stripe on the strongarm where it clumped and didn't stick. After sanding and suffering the effects of the acetone in the dye, I managed to salvage the paintjob. (You may be able to tell, it's below the drop cylinder button). Highlighted with orange paint I had for years. Was kinda runny and didn't paint on very well, had to use many coats. Finished with a matte coat for dat protection.

Also, first post. Yay

BB, or "Bite the Bullet." Aluminum trigger and priming handle, massive spring, reworked plunger/cylinder spacing and seal, improved rotation, lots of shell reinforcement (this thing feels like a brick in your hand. No creaks.) and a Borderlands inspired teeth and damage paintjob. It's for sale, by the way.

Finally started in on my massive pile of "modified-unpainted" gear.

First up is a BoomCo FlipBow sporting a Red/Blue fade and Dripping Skulls dip.

Then we have this PoS Recon with OMW metal internals. One shell half is the Clear series, and the other has been Oil Slick dipped. The inside of the OIl Slick half has been thoroughly Vinyl Dyed, and I rather like the way the internals are shown through the clear on a black backdrop; some minor internal pieces have been chromed to help accent the casted metal.OY9kVrW.jpgbi1LI7l.jpg

so a long time ago in a big lots down the road I got a diamondestia and hid it in a corner

found it a few days ago and I had one of the pull back and release cross bows (the 15 dollar gun from Walmart that is always falling of the shelves) and cramed it (along side a sling fire stock from the specter that I probably put here)

It was the last day at NYCC 2015
I had just packed everything away, cosplay props, etc.
Then this hot girl comes up to me and asks for a few pics with me... so like any guy would, I drop everything, put on all the cosplay armor, pull out the Nerf Rayven (that's modded to look like a HALO Assault Rifle) and get ready for some pictures. I thought the guy was her boyfriend or somebody, but nope, he was her professional photographer...
I found that part out when I asked for her facebook page to tag her pics, and it turns out she's a professional BIKINI model... enjoying NY Comic-Con
^_^

I was recently astounded to find out that people skip Zergs and Lanard Tri-Blasters when thrifting. Here is a rough iteration of a reason not to. Next week is finals, and I have a war coming up, so I might actually finish this and provide a write-up.

Sorry in advance for shitty phone camera quality, grainy AF.

I present an unnamed firefly mod + paintjob:

EDIT: Second Paintjob ever, used Duplicolor vinyl grey and some older acrylic craft paints, finished with rustoleum matte clear coat.

Mods Include:

-Capacitor removal

-Dart holder spacer/padding (modified to fit elite darts, used to only hold old-style suction darts

-Spring upgrade

-O- Ring seal improval

-Barrel/Turret alignment (mine was mostly fine, I was one of the lucky firefly users who did not experience this to a larger degree)

-Relubrication of rotation mech, trigger, plunger, spring-loaded plunger cap (firefly users will know), and plunger tube

-AR removal

-Paintjob (left orange priming slider, trigger, tip, and switch for legal reasons and for use in HvZ)

-Turret screw replacement(for stronger and longer-lasting turret rotation mech, can take more stress now)

It gets superstock elite ranges, which I am insanely proud of for this ancient thing. The firefly is a really good platform to work with, and is really reliable as the firing/rotation mech is amazing. Never jammed. Ever.

Not quite finished yet, still some detailing and attachments to add on, but it's getting there ^_^
I'm still deciding on whether or not to add some kind of damage details/marks on it.....

I figured I should post some of the stuff I've made recently

A7je4aF.jpg

Zerker with integrated Air Max 6 tank and pump. This is one of my favorites, and I used it recently at a war and it worked really well, even got a couple tags with the AM6. The blast button for the secondary shot is right where you would have your hand if you were naturally holding it.

84ENGT2.jpg

I'm REALLY happy with how this one turned out. It's a pump replaced XBZ in a raider shell using the stock overpressure valve. Uses a brit hopper because a standard one was kind of inconsistent. Shoots just a little softer than the Zerker (small tank 4B). Super clean, hardly had to do any cutting at all.

9x0dyB7.jpg

Just look at that sexy hole

1mMOlxV.jpg

Painted NF with the standard mods, plus replaced plunger tube with a clear one and added a green LED in place of the stock one.

k5OHEGU.jpg

Picture of the light. Not super bright, but eh.

This is the Nerf Novablast

Internal Mods:

-I tried to improve the spring, but it became too much for the blaster and since I didn't have the means to fix it I was told to scrap that part of the mod

-Improved the seal with Teflon Tape

Paints:

-Rust-Oleum High Heat base, until I ran out then I had to swap to an unknown brand of Spray Enamel

-Testors Stop Light Red

-Silver Paint Pen

X2 Hopper HPA blaster. Super soaker Shot Blast shell. I cut open the water reservoir and made screw ports. The inside is a 1st gen big blast with my X2 hopper system. The blaster is single fire and you switch between barrels with the polycab slide. This allows you to still be able to fire while reloading one hopper.

The dart doors are magnetized.

A few new blasters to finish off my Star Wars Blaster season.

First up; the standard issue First Order stormtrooper blaster pistol, done in a similar fashion to the E7-11 blaster rifle from my last post. Because the rifle was on display at my office, I had to guess at how much weathering this one needed to match nicely. I got pretty close...

qve3cms.jpg

Next up is the infamous Greedo killer - Han's DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol. I kept it pretty simple for this one.

tzLzjAv.jpg

And finally - at least for this set of blasters - Rey's NN-14 Blaster Pistol. The heat scorching on the barrel was fun - I don't own an airbrush (not a working one anyway), so I had to think about it a little differently. I ended up using Sharpie markers, with a bit of distilled spirit to smudge them around. They behave a little bit like watercolours this way... I was pretty happy with how it turned out, and now I want to heat scorch everything!

uUHb13N.jpg

The latter two blasters were very easy to paint, as all of the different coloured pieces separate nicely for painting - no masking required! I'd very much recommend them to novice modders or someone looking for a super-easy weekend project.

See ya later, Nerfinators!

EMCSnNC.jpg
Expanded plunger tube Big Bad Bow loosely following Zorn's writeup. Hits like a truck with a 5 dart RSCB.
Edit: It also hoppers like a pro

I present BOB II; a stock bolted longshot that shoots around 135 feet per second. This thing shoots Koosh darts hard and it's what I'll be using for top tier American superstock games since the flywheel glass ceiling is around 130 fps. I have another sleeper breeched longshot in the works for Australian style.

Here's the "Peri" longshot; another superstock model that I've been working on. Only shoots about 90 feet per second, but that's okay because I modded it to be as versatile as possible. It can shoot koosh and elite darts without making them fishtail and the lower fps rating allows it to be used at more wars and HvZ. A big shoutout to my brother Klaiviel for making it possible to own such a beauty.

Overhauled a Buzz Bee Sentinel. Spring additions, reinforcements, brass breech, new magazine release, the works. Easiest stefan-shooting, sealed breech modification ever. Shoots far.
