I know we've had a lot of paintjobs these months and I said I'd paint a gun so I did.
Well here is my custom NF. Old edition just to note for those who can't see.
This is my first paint job so please tell me how bad it is and what I should try next time.
Here I used "Krylon Hobby and Craft enamel." I love it.
What I was trying to go for was a solid black with a little fade to blue at the top (I f***ed up)
The reason one side looks weird is because I have hockey tape on it(The handle). So it looks weird.
I also wrapped Barrel (CPVC) and plunger with green E-Tape.
I also used Foam Craft sheet to fill the gap in the middle of the gun.
Once again, please critque me because this is my first and I plan on getting better.
Thank you and here you go.

May I ask what it says above the trigger. It looks like small print.

It Looks pretty cool. I woulnd't have used hockey tape on the handle though. I put black plasta-dip on my nf handle.May I ask what it says above the trigger. It looks like small print.

P.S. sorry about the second post, i tried editing and it screwed up and I can't fix it.

Good job, Sqiggs! I'm currently doing my own paintjob as well. Did you clearcoat it afterwards? I plan on using the gun I'm painting a lot, and I'd like to keep the paint from getting scratched. Once I get $3 I'll go and get some anyways.

Are you serious? It's on all nerf guns.

"Use only darts designed for this product"
"Do not modify darts or dart blaster"

Nice paint job man! I just dont like the Green E-tape. Makes it look sloppy.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Team Slaya- I didn't use clear paint over it. N00bish mistake I know. But I have this "Krylon GLOWZ" crap. It goes on clear and makes your gun glow in the dark. Wooh! I think the Glowz stuff would be cool if you're playing in a basement pitch black and with a blacklight. You'd see the gun and not where the person is and it would look awesome. Not to meantion some highlighter war paint  . I know everyone I like doing that stuff. but then I'll try and say, man this is gay.

Peace out,
Napoleon.

Yeah, that probably works as well. Good job, anyways. I hope to have mine turn out as good as yours. By the by, did you paint the Plunger rod too? Aren't those moving parts? Do they ever stick?

No, I took out all "Vital Organs" before painting. and No I have no tape on the plunger rod. Supprisingly it didn't slow it down when I did have it on.
Now it looks weird when i cock it but looks awesome uncocked (I think)
Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm glad my first Paintjob didn't suck balls.
I'm sure they may stick alittle but I band mine a bit. So no stickage here. I'll get a picture of what it looks like cocked tommorow.

Peace out,
Napoleon.

Pretty good for the first time. Looks a hell of a lot better than my black NF hand paintjob. The green tape goes good with the gun, but if you get a chance, paint it green so you won't have to worry about the tape coming off. Just an option, it looks good as it is, I always like the spiral look of E-tape. Well done.
