For new ram I am deciding between the following

1. http://www.zipzoomfl...ctCode=85002-32
If I get this one I will get two sets of it to equal 4gb.

2http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820227041
If I get this i'd get 2 sticks to equal 2gb.

The OCZ ram seems to be the better quality ram. But if I were to get 4gb of less quaility ram would it be better or worse then getting 2gb of better quality ram. Any help or suggestions would be very apreciated.

This is mainly for gaming like fps and the like.

What all is going into this system? Both of those choices aren't great latencies (which directly affects performance). Sure 4gb is nicer than 2, but not only are both of these not particularly fast, the 4gb is basically really slow. I reiterate: what are you putting this memory into?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 3-3-3-8 a wicked fast timing for DDR2?

I can't imagine what apps you'd run that would make use of anything beyond 2GB. I guess I'd go with the faster RAM even though the real world speed difference will only be about 2%.
