I pumped my 2k eight times, placed a stefan at the bottom of the 6" barrel and pressed the trigger. I stood at this ledge and the stefan disappeared into this tree.

I guessing that the tree is about 110' away. The gun was angled.

Pico, sorry for dobting, I definetly believe that. Just so you know, its not a good idea pump it more than 3-4 times though. My family had a station wagon just like that.

110' angled isn't suprising but EIGHT times thats very suprising. Did you plug the release valve; if so that is not good for your gun.

110' angled is more than plausible for an AT2k. 110' flat is pusing it, but I've personally measured and shot AT2k's that have done so. Airapache can verify it. Shot flat in a court, measured with one of those wheely things that measures as you roll. Single-barreled of course.

Don't pump your AT2k that many times again. Ever. Of course unless your release valve isn't plugged; then it doesn't matter how many times you pump it.

Sorry about the 126' shot guys. The dart did go that far but it wasn't a stefan, it was a stock dart that I cut the tip off of. the darts goes twice as far but not as acurate as stefans. I don't have stefans. Don't care to. But the ranges are real.

Darkmills, did you add any weight to that dart? If you didn't there is no way an unweighted peice of foam will get 126'.

Yes, I put a whole big bubble of hot glue on the stub where the tip went in the dart.

hey all you do is
1. cut off stock barrels
2. replace stock barrels
3. pluge the over release valve.
4. drane liquid (if draned than make a hole in the seel)
number 4 is optional

Don't drain the Liquitron, it's useless. Read the Liquitron mod on this site and take my word for it, it didn't work.

My frind draned his liqid and his performance on his at3k is way less.

Eh... the liquitron mod helped me by about a foot. Ya it's pretty much worthless.

Don't bother draining the liquitron. It's really not worth your time. An airtank expansion will provide a more effective solution.

hahah the hilarious thing about drainging the liquidtron is, it drained itself... there was a leak were it fits into the orange part, the air pressure like bubled out all the liquid stuff, its wierd, it has an oily feel to it. i thought theyd just use water with dye or somthing

They can't use water because it would go bad. I don't know how, but it does.

Its because of the microbes/junk in the water that make it go bad. I had a jelly cd case that used water once, after a month it had a ton of gunk in it. Also, would it be worth it to add a tank expansion to the AT3k? and if sealed correctly could the blue "Tank" thing on the back be used as one or is the plastic too liable to explode? Also, an Idea I had for quick air fill would be to take one of the co2 bike pumps (ones that use the steel metal mini tanks) and maybe rig it to be pumpable or co2? would that be dooable or am i talking too high of pressures for a nerf gun. i do know that you can fix one of those to 1/2 inch pvc pipe and Easily get over 100' flat when you first use it, I figure If I can get those kind of pressures in a nerf gun, it would be "Uber-cool".
