If I were you, I'd use a Blade paintball gun (est. 20$) instead. I recall seeing a version of one modded for Nerf that could fire a modified (weighted) dart up to 150' accurately. They've got a decent regulator, and can get forty shots of of a fifty cent CO2 cartridge.
Better-fitting darts might also help.

But this, of course, is the border between nerf and paintball. Some people might think that that's the same kind of idea as modding a super soaker. I, for one, agree with them. I think that nerf should be left as nerf, and no super soakers or paintball should enter into it. But that's just how I nerf, I see no problem in people screwing around with these non nerf guns. I just wouldn't allow them in a war, and getting our guns to yield better results to use in wars is the whole point, right?

The problem with modding a paintball gun is that they will usually shread darts, even stephans. I've seen them converted to fire nerf balls. But more to the point what does converting a paintball gun have to do with this topic?

Oh, and pictures would be hard, to hold the tank, i had cut out parts of the frame of the firefly, and thus i could get the at2k tank in, (my is farther forward). Then i had to hot glue it from both sides, sorta sealing the 2 halves together

Actually, i thought of a way to make a better semi auto. Use a second at2k tank/ valve. As the barrels rotate, it fires the first valve, pressurizing it and the tank of the second valve, the one he already has. Then, after the rotation, it fires the second valve firing the gun. Except the first valve would already would have had to close. Hmm. That would make it true semi auto, possible 2 triggers, one to pressurize the system, and the 2nd to fire the gun

Don't triple post, use the edit button.

If I understand correctly, what you're saying is technically possible, but it'd be rediculously hard and complex. Not to mention the rotating mechanism probably can't handle the weight of 8 at2k airtanks and the vinyle tubing.

Also, read Thirst's semi-auto 2k thread(link on first page) before you post in here. They discussed using two triggers, one to open the 2k valve, and another to pressurize the airtank.

i have a tip: by presssing the trigger and releasing as fast as possible, you can allow less air to be wasted. ie, don't hold down the trigger.

Of course, thanks for the enlightenment! It's a bit too late though... Check the date next time, chief.
