I saw a new nerf gun at Walmart yesterday and was trying to find more information about it, but I didn't see any posts about it on here. To be specific, there are apprently three new guns, there was only one in the store, but it had pictures of two others on the back. I can't remember the name of the gun, but it was a dart gun that cocked by having the back end pulled up (best way I can described the apparent cocking mechanism). One of the pictures on the back was of something that looked like a missile storm, but with 3 arrows instead of 4. I can't really remember what the other one was. Has anyone else seen these yet? I didn't buy anything because I was hoping to learn more about them first.

It sounds like you are talking about a max shot. Are you sure it was nerf or was it another company. The names of the guns would be good to know. Otherwise we can't really help you. The only new thing I've seen was at TRU and it was a starwars chewbaca blaster or wookie blaster.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I didn't really pay attention to the names, because I expected to find info about them on the web. I'm certain that these were nerf guns (they said nerf on the front and had pictures of other nerf guns on the back). I did a google image search on the max shot and it might be that, the cocking mechanism looks the same. A difference I remember is that this gun had a dart clip beneath the barrel that held 3 darts. Has no one else seen these guns in stores yet?

Lanard First Shot. Look in the modifications section of this site for a mod. I don't think it's really worth the $5, mine only got about 50' with a good mod and the most I've ever heard was around 55'. If you really want one go for it but I'd just pick up an NF, they're twice as good.

Speaking about lanard guns where can I get a max shot? Is there any place I can get one I want to get one or two before they are outa stock. I hope they still sell them. Don't tell me they don't sell them anymore... The triple shot and single shot are shit but its big brother the max shot is a beast. I need one.

I've seen a few max shots (the newer blue/silver shell - not the red/blue) still hanging around some of the Wal Marts in my area (S. Ontario)- and I hope to pick them up for myself. Sorry- I'm not trying to gloat - I just want to point out that some stragglers are still out there and might still pop up by chance (e.g. if things get stuck in a corner of the storage warehouse or get returned - God bless Wal Mart for accepting returns under almost any conditions). For example, at another Wal-Mart, I picked up a Lanard Speed Loader (okay, maybe nothing to get too excited about but I never saw it before) and at a third walmart, (actually just last week), I found a pair of AT2Ks on the clearance aisle (7$ CAD each). The boxes were old and ratty (and one was missing all the stock darts) and the copyright on the back was 2002! So yeah, you kinda have to be lucky but if you search the WalMarts in your area (every now and then), there's still a chance that you'll find something good. Worst case, there's also the chance of re-release....
