My air techs only get 5 feet of range, what am I doing wrong? I tried whistle darts (which don't whistle by the way) and the suction tipped darts, it's fully pumped and all, but one hasn't worked yet, the other shot a whistle dart pretty far 1 time, but that was it...

| You posted a link to the forum rule in my thread and I nearly threw my computer out the window. Thats like giving some one a demerit in school and not telling them why just handing them a list of rules because you are TO LAZEY to tell them why. |

I'm asumeing your gun is still stock, because they are of the suck stock sometimes. try shoving the darts in the barrels as far as you can. if your darts aren't stiff enought to release the air restrictors, you're gonna keep getting crappy range. You can try wrapping some scotch tape around your darts, or you can just mod your gun.
If you don't want to open your gun try doing this stuff to the turret it should help some:
Get Some sandpaper, then cut a several small pieces of sandpaper about 1 in. by 2 in.;and roll at least 2 around a pen, rough-side-in, roll at least 4 rough-side-out around a micro dart, tape them to hold their circular shape.
Then use the rough-side-out sandpaper rolls on the inside of the barrels to get rid of that nasty little ridge on the inner edge of them, do so until completely smooth, do this to all four barrels, unless you want some of them to suck. Then use the rough-side-in rolls to smooth the part the darts load onto.
When sanded to desire, take the X-acto and cut the part that splits the airflow to the darts: they normally look like this (l) you want them to look like this ( ).
here's a pic of the finished product:

Don't call it a comeback, I never left.
