Step 1 Unscrew the casing. For a picture of where the screws are, go to Ompa's Hornet Mod

Step 2 Cut 2 sections inside the handle, as shown.

Step 3 Cut the case on both sides, as shown.
Posted Image

Step4 Cut down on the handle ridges, like shown.
Posted Image

Step5 Cut the bottom of the gun, with a little notch like shown.
Posted Image

Step6 Cut more off the case.
Posted Image

Step7 Place the internal's as shown.
Posted Image

Step8 Put it back together and it should look like this:

Step9 Glue the pump onto either side, depending on if you're right or left handed, and it should look like this. I inserted an at2k pump since it doesn't stick out as far as the Hornet pump. And there you have it, the finished product.

Smooth mod Renegade. My only problem is the pump. To me, it would seem a bit awkward to pump. But, of course, it's the kind of gun that when you resize it, the pump would be a little different anyways. Either way, nice write-up!

You could keep the pump in front, with some dremeling and if you shortened some tubing. With that it'd look better than mine. :o

That's where the Titan would feed air into the Hornet.

Impressive, Renegade. Although I probably wouldn't do that myself with my hornets, I must admit that thats pretty cool. Just remember not to plug the overpressure release valve on it because it'll break the trigger mechanism thing or what not.

Couldn't the pump have stayed in the same area of the gun (below the handle, in the case) with a little trimming?

EDIT: I don't have a hornet myself to do this (or I would have already), but it seems very possible.

Although that looks really nice I think you should have made the pump come out the front of the gun and keep it in the case as much as you can. Keep up the cool mods though.

Yeah, I think I may try that with this one. The air's having a little trouble getting to the air tanks. But I'd have to cut some of the tubing, and not sure if I could get it airtight again, but I might just do it. I'll post pics if I do though.
