Maverick Mod Question

My question concerns the spring and plunger. Is it possible to replace the spring (supposing i can find one to fit) or is such an act not advisable? Also, I am going to try and pick up some silicone lube for the plunger and wanted to know if it was worth it or not?
I did use the forum search and did not find any answers to these questions, but if there are and I missed them I apoligize.

I guess this is a little off topic but if I ever get a Mav i'm definately doing that paint job to match my NF.Here is the NHQ thread on my Mav. I personally can't get enough of that blaster especially for indoor wars where rane isn't as important.
Hell you're lucky if you don't get fucked with a spiked bat

I had the same problem but if you just take some sandpaper to boththe turret and the blasters main body, it works fine. Mine is smooth enough that if you just hold the blaster sideways and push the button, it falls out.I did a paint job on my Mav and while it looks incredibly sweet (the silver on black that I mentioned) it actually made it a real pain to open and close the turret. I am now stuck replacing the gun and am going to leave it unpainted this time around.
