This is my first mod so bear with me. This mod allows you to easily and securely take out and replace your at2k turret(easy reloading). I guess this would also work for the at3k I haven't tested it though.

Materials:
At2k
Crayola barrel
1/2 in. pvc or cpvc(whatever) You need about an inch
Epoxy(or gorilla blue or something)
Electric tape

Ok, so first thing is to open up your at2k and shave off the front end(the part that keeps your turret from falling out. You will also need to cut out some of the part that keeps the turret from going to far(you need to make space for the crayola barrel to slide in)

Then either glue or epoxy your inch of pvc over the white thing that the air comes out of

Now you want to cut your crayola barrel about 2 inches long and epxoy it on your turret directly across from the opening that lets air come to the barrels(make sure that the crayola and pvc are the right length so you can slide it in and out)

Now just put it back together and it should look like this

This was my first mod and sorry about the pics. I'm open to any suggestions/comments.

Call it the Chris mod or something.

So bacically to reload it you have to take out he turret, turn it and put it back in.
Will the crayola barrel be long enough to use as a barrel? The ones I have seen have usually been at lest 6 inches long.

Hmm... I need better pics, basically the turret remains the same or however you modded it and you place the crayola barrel on the back of the turret(the crayola barrel only acts as a connector) and the pvc rests above the air tube. They only act as connectors everything else stays the same.

The idea is to have multiple turrets preloaded

Well, first off, welcome to NH, although I see you're not new to the NIC (NHQ). Anyways, nice job for a first mod, and the acceptable use of grammar and punctuation is appreciated beyond words.

Onto your mod- It wasn't as clear as it could have been. A bit more description would be nice- but after glancing through your pictures a few more times, I understand how you did the mod a bit better. I'll have to say, nice job, definately haven't seen anything like it before.

Onto criticisms- you might want to find a way to secure the turret better onto the chamber itself. I'd be worried that the air from the chamber would leak around the nozzle/turret link area. That's what the pair of ridges did before- keep the turret sealed against that nozzle. While I agree the o-ring in the turret may help, it falls out too easily and can very easily be lost.

Other than that, nice mod.

Well, when you put it in the crayola barrel is secure enough it makes a very tight fit. I'm going to do range testing tommorow. We will see.

I'd glue the o-ring on to the tank. Nice mod, seems more reliable than methods that use the casing to hold it in. I might change the pvc with half a coupler and the crayola with a piece of pvc though.

And as everyone knows, money makes the world go round. It's also the root of all evil, therefore the world going round is evil, and we should stop the rotation of the planet.

Had I done this, I would've put a pvc coupler around the tank nozzle thingy and put a peice of pvc around the place were the o-ring is. Then just put the pvc into the coupler. Don't know how good it woulld seal, but that's my idea.

The pvc would be too big to fit on the turret without hanging off the crayola barrel was just the right size, if you can find something else that fits go for it. This idea works with many different materials.

I range tested it and it does not affect my ranges by a noticable amount.
