I recently hacked one of those CVS "One Time Use" Camcorders. Pretty awsome if you ask me. Simple as well. I figured, hey I have this camera, and there dosn't seem to be alot of Nerf videos, I should start doing some myself. Here is what I did today. This is a STRONG camera, so I decided to shoot some stock micros at it from my new NF. Looks pretty cool. I am going to film at the next war, and I'll post them later in this thread.
I'll try and post some more for you guys later. Enjoy.

2 things:
1. The video won't play on my computer. What width should I set the file to?
2. How'd you hack it?

Yeah dude, your video doesn't work too well.
Anyways, if it does work, how much do these Camcorders cost and how did you hack it?

Putfile is really my only means of putting the video on the internet. Let me know of another web hostings site that would work better. The camcorders 30 dollars. (You can get them on sale for 20 at times.) You can make a cable out of an M100 Palm Cable. I first made the cable, then installed a standard USB port in the side for ease of use. Here is a picture of the cable I made.

Here is a picture of the camera it self. Note the USB port. The Valencia sticker is not standard.

Black Wrath: I'm sorry...thats never happened to anyone before.
Also, please let me know of a good site that will host some AVIs for me. My server just recently crashed..I am in the progress of fixxing it. Once it is fixxed, I can post them there...though not many people can view my server either. Either way, let me know of a better site please. If you are intrested in doing one of these hacks your self, please check out the Camera Hacking Message Boards for more info

I'm using IE, and I saw that video just fine. I've seen these one time use cameras around. About how much did it cost you to hack it and what tools are needed? I wanna look into this(even though my digi cam has video mode)

The camera is self was 30 dollars, the Palm Cable you can get at dolar stores, or online for about a dollar. The Palm M100 Serial Cradles work as well. You can find them for a dollar as well. That is if you choose to do the cable. Putting in a USB ports just as cheap, you need a female USB port, and a male to male USB cable. All it is is a little soldering. This is the first electronic based thing I decided to stick my feet in and it was a an absolute sucsess. check out the camera hacking message boards. They can help you out.
