Very, very good. Somewhere slightly below the Crossbow, but not very far below. CPVC coupler modded=awesome. Ompa clip modded=uberownage.
What I like most, is that the uneccessary (sp?) bow arms are pre-removed, so you don't even have to saw them off.

I just stopped at my local TRU and they had plenty BBB's in stock. So if you live near Bridgewater, NJ I suggest you pick one up... it's so freakin' sweet! Now they just need to re-release the BF and I'll be a happy man.

Well, Bridgewater is in I think Somerset County. I guess you could say its like Central New Jersey. I've been meaning to come to one of your wars, but work has always gotten in the way. I'm hoping I can make it to the next war.

That's fookin' great! I'm already planning some sort of a clip mod on it, so I'll need at least one. The only thing that sucks is the $25 price tag. And that air restrictor doesn't sound too friendly...Nonetheless, it's definitely worth it. Hopefully it will reach Minnesota soon. (I still haven't seen an FF) Thanks for the good news!

Interesting; I too was planning a clip mod for the bbb due to its sliding action.

Sort of on a tangent; someone mentioned the ompa clip, so I searched for it, and couldn't believe my eyes. It was essentially the same design I recently posted, and I never realized it had already been invented. The only real difference was that I used an expensive maglite instead of a piece of pipe like I should have.

Ompa's

Mine

This probably reveals my plans for a bbb anyway, with the sliding action and all.

Indeed. The clip mod is the perfect thing for the BBB. It'll make it into a semi-auto pump action gun. Quite frankly, I love the gun as it is, and if I get a better ROF....*salivates*...I think I'm going to do as Starbuck did and take off the front handle too. I like the clean look of it.

Just thought I'd add this. My local TRU (Totowa, NJ) has recently stocked up on BBB's. No joke there were at least a dozen on the shelf, of which I bought 3. The best part however, is that they were only 19.99 instead of 24.99 as others have reported.

Same. I picked one up on Saturday for $20 at my TRU, where they had tons of them.

*sigh* which means they'll be ~$32 here.

I wish it was at Target instead of TRU, because TRU always seems to inflate the prices. Anyone else notice this, or is it just the TRU in my town?

GAH! I need to get someone to give me a ride to the nearest TRU (about a half an hour away). I have always wanted a nerf bow.

Not just a bow, a big bad bow. I just got mine yesterday. It rocks stock, so it'll probably be a while until I mod... beyond just a restrictor removal anwyay.

What exactly are the stock ranges with the arrows? Can you shove darts down the barrel without taking the pegs out? Also if you can do that what is the distance for the dart? What is the accuracy of the arrows when they are in good condition and if you can shove darts down there how accurate are they?

The arrows have curved fins so they rifle, giving it amazing accuracy. The barrel is not immediately compatible with darts, but after taking the restrictor out I can see that it might be with just a little dremelling. That's tomorrow's project. Sorry, I can't accurately measure ranges (I would estimate 40', for once an accurate advertized range), but let me say again that it is an awesome gun. I think it's going to force me to step up to stefans.
