So, I am resurrecting this thread. Why? I had an apiphany! And yes, it hurt when it hit me.

So, take some music wire and make a 16 inch diameter circle with it and tape it together. Strectch some nylon fabric across the circle and cut it out some aobut 1/2 inch extra to the diameter. Now put the nylon on the bottom of the music wire or so you can fold the extra 1/2 inch over and hot glue it shut. You have now made a barricade buster.

I have not tried this yet, but I plan it. And with different material.

Well, I have the music wire, and my Dad gave me the great idea to take some of my moms nylon stalkings. So money isn't really wated. Like she needs 'em. They are hooker clothes.

Anyways, I am going to try a few different materials and post my results. I might just try nothing but duct tape since it's the closest thing to me riht now. But really, it's sitting on top of the music wire.

Edit: Just made one in about 5 minutes with a carside to go baggy (which can make about 3) and the music wire and duct tape.

I am using .035 inch diameter wire.

Well it's not like I am going to be able to make one surefire in the middle of the night. I sleep too ya know.

But from what I could comprise of last night I got one fairly good try after trying to get the folding just right.

Make sure your music wire has a high amount of flexibility, so it's not deformed permanently/ resulting in you having to bend it back.

That hasn't been the problem actually.

CaptainSlug gave me a flexable frisbee for barricade busters today at DCNO. The wire is flat steel. Mine is round. I need to try and find some unless I just buy the rest of his frisbees off him. I really don't think I will use them THAT much. Would be fun in pistols battles and indoor though.

Another thing, you guys know that you can buy these things at Wal-Mart right? They are just larger. About 16in Diameter.

Yeah, you just have to find a good supplier is all. I also suppose that by using flat steel, you get even more flexibility (like constant-tension springs), which results in less wear-and-tear.

I made videos too.......and the barricade buster.

But I don't fold it like captainslug. I'll post videos sometime soon. Maybe another showing my grenade launching stefans 50+ feet and hitting a fence.
