Alright, so today one of my brothers friends came over with the internals of a gun. He said that before he took them out the gun was red and black and shot plastic darts? I have no idea what kind of gun this would be but I noticed that it looked very easy to mod...and it was. I glued 6" of PVC on the barrel stub and then put 7" of PETG inside of that.

This is the whole gun



This is the barrel. If you notice the little white stub with the spring on it above the barrel. You pull in on this to fire the gun.



This is the pump/air tank. The air tank is very big and takes about 20-25 pumps to fill up.

I range tested this in my yard with a level shot. I was very happy with the results. I shot 4 times on 20 pumps and got these results:

Good job man...the mod is a little messy but the range is there. If your intrested... you could try to use a 2k pump tube and pump shaft. That will most likely cut the pumps in half.

Yeah, I really didn't have that much time to do it or it would look nicer. I actually did this in about half an hour. I found out that the gun was called a storm ls2 or something of the sort.

Right now there's not much use other than maybe an integration, so I'm thinking some things up.

Ya the tank is so big because it was meant to be a semi-auto gun. Just to let everyone know thats a LS2. The one that had plastic light up darts.

Whats with the spring around the vinyl connectin the air-tank to the barrel?

I'm going to bet this gun had either a 10 shot or 5 shot clip. if it did, it is the LS2 or LS1, respectively.

As I said already, it is an LS2. Ronster thats to keep the vinyl from moving around everywhere. It keeps it sturdy.

When I first saw the image, I really suspected it was a squirt gun (huge airtank), and that last picture confirmed it. It's got just about the right size tank for a squirt gun to nerf gun conversion; I had similar success with a storm 2000. By the way, I don't know if this was made clear, but the spring around tubig is commonly to prevent the tube from getting crushed, preventing airflow.

I know that this gun sucked, gut did anyone ever think about making a mod that used the clip too? Come on, it can't be that hard. PM me if you have one of these stock guns. I will mod it.

There's is pretty much no way to sucessfully modify it and to still use the clip, the way it works stock is: There is no barrel, the airtank gets pushed up against the dart, and the airflow propels the dart out of the clip itself, no barrel involved. A lot of air gets wasted.
