SNAPE KILLS -

I'm sorry I couldn't resist. I won't finish it though.
Heh.

Don't klick this link!!! I'm warning you!!! Seriously!!!

Why are you quoting me if I'm the one who knew about it also and said it.

I think that video is funnier when you show it to people who don't know the ending, and then they flip out. Why would they care so much? I'd rather be laughing at others getting pissed then be the one pissed. I mean, looking back on yourself and that happening, you'd feel kinda stupid for flipping out over a book's ending.
I don't know where I'm going with this, but in general, I wish I could just ruin the lady in that video's life by saying that everyday to her.

I agree. A couple years ago a friend ruined the end of book 5 I was pissed then, but now I think it was stupid that I was pissed.

Yeah. Potter puppet pals was kinda funny, especially in the second one where they own Voldemort with uzis. Ahhh, good times.

The main reason I like Nix so much, if any of you have read his stuff, is because of his ability to create such a unique world or magic system every time. It's so fun to learn the workings of the world every time, I think. That's one of the main reasons I liked LOTR. I also liked how Tolkien didn't go in-depth into where the elves traveled to, because he knew where our imaginations would have to go for ourselves. That holding back is what marks a really good author, who put a lot of thought into his/her book(s).

I still have to read HP 6, but I'd rather start up WoW again. I was a beta tester for the better part of half of it, and wasn't really prepped to go out, blow $50 on the game, then another $15 a month. But when I got home from camp the other day, a copy of it and a huge strategy guide from my brother's friend was there. So I'm reconsidering now. But not to get too far off topic, HP was well written, but the movies are starting to lag behind as the main actors are getting older, and Dumbledore died. It just isn't the same anymore with that new guy there.

And I will finish Enders game, if my mom ever finds our copy, by the end of the summer. It's actually required summer reading for 9th. I'll take it :P.

HP is decent. I've read every book, and I don't mind it. I don't really like the movies, but I plan on reading all the books. As for LOTR...I think you can tell I'm a huge fan. :P The writing style sure is different. In HP, you can just jump right into the world without confusion, which is nice. On the other hand, LOTR has a harder world to get into. It's extremely complex, but once you're into it, it wastes Potter. If you think LOTR is complicated, try the Silmarillion (also by Tolkien). It's like the big bad cousin of LOTR, just not 3 books long.

I bought the books and tried to read them but never got into them. I have watched the first movie and the second one was ok.

As of last night I've read them all. In my experience, kids and adults tend to enjoy the HP books, teens like to think they're too grown up for them. Striking similarity to how typical teens react to Nerf, really.

Hurley, you're an asshat. So is the guy in that video. I didn't read this thread until I finished the book because I knew someone would be a dick.

Haha. I hate the people who preach about how bad it is.

I'm reading the sixth HP book right now and I love it; it's one of the best series of books I've ever read.

Haha, my mistake then. I agree I'm an asshat at times too. I'm just always up for laugh. I guess I get overboard then. Though I wouldn't go out and film random people, but I'm always up for being an ass to my friends and ruining shit. It's just a wierd ass thing we do to each other.

And I have read the books, I did enjoy them more then the movies, but I'm just not a reader now.
