Like I said, this game takes [Understatement] ALOT [/Understatement] of practice.
Don't expect to rock at it right away.
Just a note to the new guys from your friendly *cough* NerfLad.

MOUT's easy. Just shoot the paper terrorist targets and do what the instructor tells you to do. You have to shoot ALL of the targets.

Yeah, its realistic, so you need practice. There are also alot of cheaters/hackers for some strange reason.......
Basic is easy, but marksmanship and SF training is hard.

To find a good server, sort them by PING, the lower the ping, the faster (usually) the server is. OFFICAL SERVERS allow you to gather HONOR points, which allow you to gain HONOR, which is the way of gaining "RANK"
You can see if the server is OFFICAL by looking in the box in the lower LEFT, if it has a 1 next to OFFICAL, its OFFICAL.

A good site for AAO is AAO Tracker, which tracks your stats, such as kills, deaths, ect. during online games. HERE--> http://aaotracker.4players.de/

Here's a wikipedia guide to AAO, which can be pretty helpful ----> http://en.wikibooks....iki/AASFTactics

You have to walk up to the door and if it says "Open door" at teh bottem in green, then press E. Or just walk up to the door until you are really close and try opening it like that.

What's your hard drive capacity? It's a big game.

Anybody wanna start a server? I might be able to do something tomorrow night.
I'll let you know.

Yes, I lead the Americas Army clan: [-Super Troopers-]. We are always recruiting, and our forums are at: [-Super Troopers-].

A server can be launched from your computer but you need a big-ass connection to run it smoothly, it also eats up downloads like you wouldn't believe. Or you could rent a server ($90/Month for an official [honor] server).
Get AA Version 2.4, but make sure you uninstall any previous versions before installing.

As for the Marksmanship, you need to get 36/40 accuracy in the M-16 target range, and log in BEFORE playing. I forgot to log in once and did the SF_Evasion and Escape training...bad, bad Kama. Though it was easier the second time around.

Oh and my name is:

Is 11 MBPS fast enough to run a server with? I don't have the money to run a bigshot official server.

Stanpig: How's medic training? I'm afraid it'll be boring.

Medic training was slightly boring but very informative. I think its worth it though. And damn is special forces training hard, airborne is just hard to figure out. I love doing airborne missions.

I got a big list of cheats and now I can go into medic training, spawn whatever Gun I want, and SHOOT EVERYTHING!!! Muahahahaha!

It gets boring though. I play cheat servers and regular servers now.
Note: If you wanna get yourself banned from most Regular servers, only cheat in the specified games.

Has anybody played online yet?
