Okay, the latest Nerf RPG topic inspired me to make another game.
I don't know if anyone remembers my last nerf game, the over head shooter,
but my skills have advanced quite a bit since then.

Anyways, i'd like to see what everybody would want.

I made i new topic because i didn't want to steal the other guys topic.

P.S. I don't want to hear about going outside and nerfing instead of playing a game.

First Person Shooter: If you can do a HL mod, do this definetly.

Turn Based RPG: Eh, no.

Real-Time-Stratedgy: That would actually be pretty cool if it would look as good as SC or WC3, but we can't expect that from you.

Worms-esque: That's basically Nerfdat by Diablo.

Top Down Shooter: Well, that'd just look like an arcade game.

Side-Scroller: I was looking into doing this, it would be good if it turned out well, but the other options are better.

Wow, nice game tex. I like the Story Mode in the Forest. The controls take a bit to get used to but it's really fun. Good game.

Wow tex, bravo. Never played that before, I either just beat survival mode (been playing for 20+ minutes) or I just spontaneously combusted, because I still had half health Anyway, very fun, if you know what weapons the best

I might delve into the HL mod in a few years, when I finish year 12 or something.

A friend and I considered modding Arena Blast with new guns like the PC, Splitfire, Sharpshooter 2, ect. We might get around to it one day...

Thing is, how morally correct we are around here, we couldn't distribute it because no-one really owns the full version game, and it would therefore be illegal to pass it around. It can be purchased on ebay still though.

Mods are totally legal, so if you had the full game, you'd be fine.

I would have to agree.

Even though I don't see this project going anywhere fast, I think that an army of "Rangers" equipped with SM5ks would be awesome.

Think of all of the parallels you could draw between it and StarCraft!

Firebats/RF20s, Ghosts/SM5ks, Marines/Sawtooths, Zealots/Dual Ln'Ls...

Although FPS has the most...i think that people are setting thier sights too high.
If it was an FPS, it would be like Quake I.

However, i will probably do either RTS or a Platformer (Metroid, anyone?)
