We figured since we sorta opened up the nerf summer, we figured we might as well end it. We have a new location, that is NOT overtaken by brush and has a larger, but similar urban area to that of the one at Armageddon. It is a public school ground, far smaller than Armageddon, but free for a smaller-scale locals war with a fairly large and intricate urban section as well as fields and such for CTF, etc. Also, there is a rarely used small public park (Labeled as "Ole Hammer Park" on Google maps) withh lots of trees literally next door to the school for some other game types as well as shade for lunch and such.

The address is not definite, but go to http://maps.google.com/ and type in

E. Leadora Ave.
Glendora, CA 91741

Follow Leadora to the left (west) to the corner of Leadora and Live Oak. That is where the school is. There is a nice-sized circle drive with a parking lot on the Live Oak side of the corner.

We figure we'd meet around 9:30-10~ish, like always.

For dates, we were looking at Labor day, September 5th, because nobody has school or work or anything, and it's a monday so there won't be any little kids in soccer uniforms chasing balls, as there are on saturdays.

Check in if you think this is feasible. If you guys don't come, we'll be there anyway (I live about 30 seconds at a light jog from this place...)

I intend to Bring my video camera and the rest of my KFS Production Video Crew(all NARF Members, who'ld have guessed?), so I'll make sure to make a Kick @$$ Video of my own, using ALL YELLOWCARD music...(cough...read Falcon's post in the Soundtrack Suggestions Thread and that's a whole lot funnier...)

It Isn't tha I don't think that the 'geddon videos are sweet, or thet the upcoming ones will rock, It's just that I might as well take full advantage of my non-nerf skills as a film editor. I run my own small production co.: KFS Productions; right now we mostly do things like award ceremonies and weddings, but I also make Music Videos, Movies Comics and Cartoons. And I meant to bring my stuff along to Spring CAFF, but my crew bailed on me and I felt more like NERFing than Filming. It IS why I haven't given any input into the already mentioned sundtrack thread, I'm keeping my ideas to myself, as to not have the same songs on multiple Videos.

I already posted this on HQ and thought I might as well give it a try here too. I live near salem oregon, it's going to be a 14 hour drive maybe more but I am going to try and make it to this one. Problem is I need a place to stay for a night, possible two at the most. I can't afford both hotels and gas so I was wondering if anybody would let me stay with them to help me cut the costs of going down there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Falc, It looks like I'm gonna be there a little early, so that i can pick up Shwa from the train, so I'll be glad to lend assistance. also, My Crew and I are probaly gonna have to either leave early(2:30-3:30) or Quite late(6:30-7), I'm not sure yet.

The second option would be preferable, but if you have to leave early, all is well. You mentioned your crew. Is that still comprised of approximately 4 guys?

On another note, Richomundo, we're delighted! The more the merrier!

Has anybody seen the Desert Storm guys around? We'd love to have them again.

Looks like 4-5 confirmed, and about 8-9 that are up in the air, and 5 that For sure cannot make it.

Cool. Looks like participation is going to be around 21-22. Sounds like a perfect turnout for our location (though having Desert Storm there would still be nice, hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge...)
