I live in CA and I've been hunting for the last week or so via phone and on foot, and I haven't been able to find a single Firefly. Anybody having this problem? I went to two Walmarts and three Targets today without any luck. I found Dart Tags and even Dart Tag refills, but no Fireflies. This is strange because we tend to get guns earlier here than other parts of the country.

I've done pretty much the same thing. I live in SoCal, and I went to multiple Walmarts and TRUs - no luck. I don't know... didn't the West Coast get the NStrike Unity (when it first came out) later than the other parts of the U.S.?

I got the N-Strike only a day or two after I first read someone finding it on this board. The NF EX3 was also here early. Target tells me they're restocking their Nerf stuff this week, so maybe then. Walmart had so many Dart Tags--I can't believe they didn't have it. I'm going to go searching again today. Hopefully I can get one by week's end.

You have to think of where Nerf Headquarters is, where they ship from. See how far away the nearest Nerf selling store is in relation to the shipping warehouse, and think of how long it will take for the gun to get to your area.

And just how to you think we get that information? Remeber, we are all no the smartest bunch in the pile and we are not really wanting to find the gun so bad that we have to track down where it is made and shipped out from. Everyone who wants one will get one eventually. I waited a good 2 months after people got MAVs 20 minutes away from me until it was in stores by me. Just wait it out.

The products are made in China and shipped here. Exactly where, no one knows, they could come into a port on the west coast, or they could even come into Newark for all I know. The thing is, it takes time to distribute them, so who really cares when they get one? If it's out in one part of the country one week, soon enough it will be available nationwide.

Well Doods I was just at Tru geting backup guns and no DTB or Firefly on the East Coast

Well, atleast the U.S.A gets Nerf stock. Here in Canada, we pretty much just got NiteFinders, and there's almost no hope in hell of getting the Titan, Scout, and Hornet any time soon.

Look at the possitive side, you al lare open to purchases from us. Then again it would cost a good amount of money but what the hell right? I have also heard of off brand nerf guns I think. I don't remember many but I know they have some good ones up there right?

We had a good Maxshot stock in Wal-Mart, but that's the best we've ever had. The AT line and NFs can only be found at one location, an hour away from my house. It's not worth driving there, or to Buffalo to get the blasters.

I'll just wait for it I guess.

I can confirm that DTB's are at Wal Marts in New England, at least in Portsmouth NH. No FF yet, didnt check TRU.

The firefly isn't actually released yet, the stores are selling the some of the ones they have but they aren't legally supposed to be selling them (I'm not saying anything against it though).

Okay, but it's on Hasbro's Nerf site, up for sale; so they must be released.

True dat bro! I remember when the mav came out. Hasbro didn't put it up until at least a month or 2 until it was actually jsut starting to get setteled into the east coast. In my opinion, the FF has been out in places where nerfers do not vinture and have spread.

Actually it's not for sale from them (see: hasbrotoyshop.com) it's listed on the nerf site but there's no link to buy it.

Regardless of whether or not Hasbro is selling it, how would YOU know if companies are supposed to sell it, AND if it's actually released yet?
