Anyways, I have a few questions about the gun. Is $19 a good deal for it? Or should I have just gotten something like the Maverick instead? Also, I've searched around for possible modifications of the gun and can't seem to find any ( I'm a noob at mods and DON'T want to mess up this gun ). Thanks.

You made the right choice over a maverick on this one. Trust me. 
As modifications go personally i would keep this as a collectors item. Not very many people have those original darts with the gun all in one box. Just my thoughts though.

I came up with this conversion for the Sharpshooter 1. It can be seen here: http://nerfhaven.com...hl=sharpshooter. I wouldn't do this to the in box Sharpshooter, especially since it has the original type 1 darts.
