In examining my PC and doing the usual air restrictor removal or overpressure release value plugging I could not locate the overpressure release value on my PC. Does it have an overpressure release value? Or does it not have anything to plug as to achieve a higher tank pressure?

No I don't think there is anything to plug.

No need to worry about overpressure release on a PC or RF20. I guess Hasbro figured that having a stretchy air bladder would compensate. There's not much more you can do to them except for clip mods, banding, and pin removal. And if you're really creative you can attach some sort of different air-bladder.

The release valve is the black thing sepperated from the bladder by a green plug that serves as a power guage for the PC.

Uh, no.. There is not a release valve on the PC. I think people would have mentioned it by now in mods and stuff.

I am referring to a valve that stops you over-filling the bladder, I have my Powerclip right here in front of me so dont tell me it doesn't have one.

Really now, I don't think there is one. Why would hasbro put a safety item on a bladder gun? All it would do is limit to how many shots could be fired after the 10 have been fired. I see no reason why they would do that. They most certaintly didn't do it to "stop them from exploding" beacuse some still explode. I think your facts are a little off.

There is one. It's the little yellow-ish cap at the end of the bladder- you see that little pin thing? Yeah, that's it. Don't plug it, you really don't need to, and you really don't want to risk plastic shards everywhere in your body. Of course, if you want to, go ahead- I don't think anyone has actually plugged the thing before. If you do that though, I'd recommend putting a few layers of bike inntertubing on the original bladder as well- both to contain the bladder if it explodes and to achieve higher pressure in the same space.

My PC has joined me today, and the only black things I see are the trigger, the flippy thing for the clip, and the piece of foam behind the clip. Or then there is the thing on the end of the bladder...That, friend, wouldn't be a release valve. I removed the green part when I ran thorough diagnostics on my PC last year. Hammer, I think it was Hasbro's feeblest attempt to stop it from exploding. It keeps the bladder from hitting the clip. Even so, I don't think you could pump it that far without rupturing a part of the gun. Sure, it's supposed to prevent over-pumping, but it's technically not a release valve.

ompa, are you sure? The tubing connects to the bladder, and then from the bladder to the trigger, and on to the green chamber. I don't see anything that would really prove as a release. You're probably right anyways.

Here. I'm almost positive that's it.



The black thing has a spring inside it, which has another disk which I believe seals against the inside of the yellow parts. When it hits the case, the spring is compressed, which lets air out the hole. At least that's how I'm fairly sure how it works. Do feel free to correct me if you have more information. However, if I am correct, and that is how it functions, it basically is an overpressure release valve, releasing air when the pressure becomes too high, in this case when it hits the casing.

Snap, I didn't realize there was a spring. It must be some sort of release. When I took it apart, I just thought it had no purpose. Hmm...kinda weird for a release valve.
