I have done a search and google was no help so I come to the nerfers...

I'm building a gun with an internal pressure maximum of 225psi and I need to know the type of Pipe that can withstand this amount of internal presure. I am making a backpack airtank and pipe material and wall thickness or code would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean with an integration or what? Because size doesn't have anything to do with performance...-NerfMonkey

Well, Google gave me this on my first page of searching.

Looks like 3" sch 40 will work fine (260psi). You can probably get away with 4" sch 80 but I'll let you find that table yourself.

Don't blow yourself up.

Cx,

Thanks for the prompt post. I actually saw that about 5min after I posted on NH but i am glad someone knows their piping.

Iron, yeah that is a lot of psi but thats the max pressure my portable pump puts out when hooked up to a 12volt source (airman inflation system) while usually running on a 9.6 volt battery. Of course I'm designing my gun for maximum tolerances because you just never know when my gun will be hooked up to a car bettery
