Hey I was reading the Tech Target brass barrel mod and it said K&S Brass prefered as always. Do you just buy this at a hobby store, or can you buy it off of this site. I donno this site didn't seem very authentic. Just wondering if anyone bought from this site.

Almost any hardware store or hobby store sells K&S Brass; I would check your local stores first as then you won't have to pay shipping.Hey I was reading the Tech Target brass barrel mod and it said K&S Brass prefered as always. Don't buy Brass tubing, by my 9/16" high quality PETG tubing. The PETG is far easier to work with, lighter but still quite strong.

Petg has a different fit than 9/16" brass. Also, not every hardware store carries K&S brass, it's usually just Ace hardware stores and of course hobby shops. You can also buy online at http://www2.towerhob...WTI0002p?&M=K S That has the entire K&S line up of materials.

Special Shapes is a sister company of K&S. That's where I get my brass. Luckily there headquarters is only about 15 min. from my house but I think you can order off the website or by phone. That way you can buy peices in like 3 foot lengths and such. Comes in handy.

9/16" PETG is identical in ID as the 9/16" brass, baghead even comformed it. Its cheaper by the way.
