I had an idea to make flying nerf sparklers:

Take a sparkler and stick it in a dart, then get a gun with a short barrel and put it and prime the gun. After you do all of that then light the sparkler and shoot it in the air. You should not do this on grass because it could light on fire or near people.

I do not take responsibility of burning yourself or others, getting arrested, or other stupid things.

I did this a while ago, problem was we took to long and when I fired the gun the dart was on fire, ended up landing on my swingset.... ah that was fun.

That is a sure fire way to generate some negative publicity towards Nerf in your immediate area. Not that I am denouncing this behavior, I just feel as though you should at least consider the ramifications of your actions.

Some people have enough trouble Nerfing in their area. I would guess that shooting lit sparklers from a gun is a pretty good way to attract the wrong type attention.

Bad idea all around. Nerf and gunpowder (or whatever a sparkler is made of) doesn't mix. I doubt it would work very well anyway. Why not just light a sparkler and enjoy that? Or Light one and throw it. Keep nerf out of this.

Oh I have an even more dangerous idea! Take a stock dart, and shove a firecracker in it. Have the gun primed first, then lite it and drop it in the barrel, and shoot it real quick. So either you blow up your hand, blow up your gun, or you shoot it in the air and its really cool!

Dude, no. I agree that sparklers and Nerf do not mix, but don't dis him for his idea. If he wants to do it, fine, let him. It is a bad idea, but if he wants to try it, so what?

First off, sparklers are gay. They are for 5 year olds. Second why you would wanna shot any sort of firework related item when your hand is just as valuable. I can throw a firecracker much higher than my nerf gun can shoot one, and without the risk of fucking my gun up. If your gonna fire anything in a nerf gun thats not nerf related try a stink bomb with some e-tape on the end of it. Good times..

I've changed my mind. Shindig is correct. You could seriously give people the wrong idea about Nerf. This almost sounds like an idea that would be posted in NHQ. Do it if you want, but only negative can come out of it.

When you catch some on fire and burn your yard, house, chairs, friends, parents, relatives. PM me so I can laugh at you in my mind. If it hasn't accured to you yet darts melt/ catch on fire. When you light them, you have to shoot it really fast. I might try it, just to see how stupid it is. But besides that I'd never do it and don't think it would work.

I wouldn't do it, mostly because of what everyone has said so far about it's dangerous, but do it if you want.

Guys, they are fucking sparklers. When was the last time you dropped a sparkler and your grass lit on fire? And then! OMGWTFBBQ! YOUR HOUSE!

Sparklers are good for shit, when I have them, I just use them because they are the fastest things to light fuses for any kind of firework. He isn't going to burn anything down, even if something starts to burn, he'll be able to stop it by something such complicated as stepping on it.

He was just fucking arround, made a worthless post (which you could of flamed for, not the shit inside), and now you all tell him he is a dumbass.

For once I agree with Davis... Chill out, they're just sparklers. You're definately in more danger using CO2 with PVC or some of the other things people have suggested. As for the sparklerdarts, I might try this myself, it would at least be a use for all these annoying sparklers that come free with fireworks packages.

If you want to see something awesome with sparklers make a 'sparkler bomb'. Basically you tie a large number of sparklers together and make one cool fire work.
