Hi, I had an idea afer fideling(dont know how to spell that) with my newly made blowgun and my maverick. At first I thought of taking out the plunger of my maverick and puting pvc where the plunger used to be and puting more pvc on the part where the dart comes out of the gun. It would look somwhat like this...

I also had the idea of having a shell for the blowgun. It would be a normal blowgun cut in half and using a pvc size that can fit over the normal half inch pvc and using the half inch pvc making the shells. here is a stinky picture of what I am trying to say.

And yes i know it sucks. please dont flame me, It's just some ideas.

I think it's fiddling. The whole shell thing in a blow gun is unique, I have to admit. The first one is kind of silly, but I like the second one. I am not sure of how actually practical it would be, since you would have to deal with the different pieces.

On a totally unrelated note, I found some non n-strike nite finders at a toys backwards r us today. Rad.

Once I buy some of the pvc that can fit over the half inch I will make one and show you what i mean. After all they are just some ideas...

I find that simplicty is good for blowguns. I have a 3'6" peice of copper that fits my stefans super loose. I could plug you at 40' with that joker.

Yep, I have to agree. Making mods for blowguns defeats the purpose of them. They are supposed to be simple but effective. However, I enjoy fiddling around with different ideas, so it might be intresting to see what happens with this mod.
Use a Dremel to dremel out the PVC, because I am not sure you can find stuff to fit over 1/2 in the right way.
BTW Love, only 40'? My blowgun goes much further.

Wow, So dose mine and it's just a piece of pvc thats a little over a yard with some ammo holders on it. I can get ranges of about 70' max, But I have not yet compleatly range tested it becouse it's been to windy.

Sorry to be off topic but when you say non N-strike, you mean the OLD ones? wit the good spring?

Duh! What els did you think "non N-strike meant". Man kid have you been sleeping in a rock for this long?

Ok now to get back on topic. When I went to home depot today they didnt have and pvc the right size . So I was wondering dose anyone have any ideas on how to make something simular(don't know how to spell right) to the pvc that goes over the half inch pvc for the shell blowgun?
