Ok I just bought two of these at target for only 10 dolares and now I cant find the mod I wanted to do. It was at a nerf website where it ended with .tk instead of something like .com. It was for a single barrel can anybody help. Also I hear A leak do i use plumers goop. Can I take out the liquid in the gauge thing. Sorry if these have been answered.

100 ft huh ?
I would much rather have 4 quicker shots that go 85 ft than the one that goes 100.

But since you have 2, you could turn one into a loser (long range weapon) and keep the turret on the other one.

There are no losers in nerf.

For a beginner a single barrel mod will be better. You'll learn how to be conservative with your shots and have more emphasis on marksmanship. It will also be an easy mod, which will give you some starting skills that you can build on. The more practice you have the cleaner your mods are. A single barreled 2k is a good gun and will help you understand little things like seals.

For a leak, I like to use some loctite super glue and then some plumbers goop.

Sweet mother of COW!, someone is using MY MOD??? I never expected this day to come...

There are no losers in nerf.

Talio is correct maybe you could say "tactical sharpshooter" but not "loser". I just use the term "loser" in the name of the mod because the NARF page was made formy uber-n00b homies to reference so I wouldn't have to do it for them.

Maybe you could just call it, a single barreled gun and stop trying to give yourself a title. Maybe saying, this thing is accurate isn't enough. Who knows?

I sawed off the orange barrels but two had the inside diameter cut out more than the other two so I'll just do a single. Does the pvc on the outside of the crayola barrel add range or just accuracy. If I was not to have a two piece barrel and just a one piece what would be a good length for it. also my stock darts keep getting slits in the sides with like three pumps. Should I only use stefans. How do I make the tips softer. Is there something besides hot glue. sorry for the long post.

I think that the PVC on the Crayola barrel just adds accuracy, because it is too big to fit snugly around the dart, if you are using micros, which I assume you are. When you say a "one piece barrel", do you mean only a Crayola barrel or only 1/2" PVC? If you are going to leave out the Crayola barrel, I'd suggest using 1/2" CPVC with a coupler - that was what I did and I get about 90' flat. A good length for a single barrel is about 8" I think. I would recommend using only Stefans for your gun, and make sure to use 1/4" steel slingshot ammo or size 3/0 fishing weights for darts in a gun like an AT2k. If you want to make the ends of your darts softer, you can take about 1/4" of FBR and stick it on the hot glue. This should soften the impact a little bit, but not much. I shot myself with a singled 2k with a "safety dart" with FBR on the end and it gave me a welt for a day.

Hope this helps; good luck!

My fishing weights are BB split shots. Aren't these a lot smaller than 3/0? Also can I have a definition for a coupler? I think I know what it is but Its kind of fuzzy.

A coupler is a piece used to connect two pieces of pipe; when I say a 1/2" CPVC coupler, I mean one to connect two pieces of 1/2" CPVC to make a breech type loading system. I did it to my Ubertech 2000 and it's great.
