In this thread you will share your favorite contribution to the Nerf Internet Community.
For example, Groove may say Death By Foam. It can be a comic strip, modificaton, specified post...anything!
So I guess I'll start off by posting a link to my Blast Bazooka Mod
http://nerfhaven.com...?showtopic=4379
This is my favorite because someone actually tried it and got great results.

I know this sounds harsh, but were you like, trying to get everyone to see your mod or something?
I could be wrong, but that's how I perceived this thread.

P.S. My favorite contribution has to be the ompa-langley valve that's not finished yet. I still need to run to the store and pick up that silicone grease.

If there is a significant contribution that you really liked, why don't you write the author a PM, rather than mention it in a topic? I have a feeling that they would gain more enjoyment hearing from you in a PM than reading a two sentence blurb in some topic.
I figured I'd give you my thoughts.

I don't think it's that bad a question, intentions aside, because it encourages people to think a bit about what they have actually done for the NIC. It always seems like 95% of the innovation of this community comes from 5% of the members. If I'm wrong, this thread would be the place to prove it.
If it ends up looking like a lot of penis waving, so be it. Learning to sell your own accomplishments is an important part of success in life.

Holy crap, did you even read cx's post?I would have to agree with Halfing. My favorite contribution in the NIC was by a guy named Cxwq, with this little gem.
It's about what YOUR favorite contribution MADE BY YOU is. I thought it was clear enough already. Oh, and if you really want to be mature, you'd stop ripping on NHQ - RAMBO your statement is not even close to the truth and only constitutes a baseless insult at the expense of other people who are part of this community. Way to be "mature".
Now, to answer the poor man's question, my favorite contribution would probably be my site (Nerf Net) which I stopped updating a few years ago. At its busiest it was getting around 200 hits a week, and ended up having over 10,000.

1. 1999- I posted my first mod ever on Nerf Online. It was the SM5k. People were calling this gun a farce, but I knew it had some power. I figured that if you pry off the air restrictor and cut off an inch on the arrow barrel, you could launch anything that would fit down in there. This modification made Lord Gothmog (anyone remember him?) very happy.
2. My Razorbeasts. They were pretty much worthless pieces of shit until I got a hold of them and turned them into a death machine. I also mounted one of these puppies on a tripod in 97' and reattached it here recently.
3. My simple TTG mod. Takes less than 15 minutes to do and is one of the easiest and more effectives mods availible today.
Those aren't that big or monumental, but they've helped some people out over the years.

Yeah you're right, the SuperMaxx5000 mod wasn't huge at all; in fact it's probably the most worthless mod out there.1. 1999- I posted my first mod ever on Nerf Online. It was the SM5k. I think that counts as a memorable contribution. Perhaps.
